I'm still of the opinion there is going to be a big twist somewhere soon - we are underpowered I think, unless the Mafia are just three goons , and I don't believe for a second Vitek would be Mod of such a simple game...

Like I said before - claiming is all well and good, but it does provide a massive amount of WIFOM. I still think a bandwagon analysis is essential, and will be doing one soon.

That was because I had thoughts about the vanilla town claim but I didn't want to say anything until all the claims had been made. Robbeasy has a point that he didn't actually claim "town vanilla".

No one else from game 6 appears to be present. When I got my PM I thought this to be a revival/follow up to game 6 and expected others.

I think that the mafia is among lifthrasil, cpsgv, robbeasy and jmich. It might be Flubbucket, but if he's lying we'll find out tomorrow. Seems safest to find his compatriot in that case. I think flub's telling the truth anyway. But it would be a great lie to tell.

It seems that robb and cspvg are going at each other. I think one or both of them will be mafia.
And, you may remember, I'm never wrong.

But if we lynch the wrong one, tomorrow will be too late! So the 'finding out' only helps if we get one of the correct mafias. Still, with the possibility of the town surviving yet I agree that a lie that will automatically be revealed on the next day would be a poor idea. So I tend to believe that flubby is town too.

And I agree that probably either Robbie or CSPVG is scum. I'm not yet sure which one, but at the moment CSP looks a bit scummier to me. Could also both be mafia and only be going at each other for show? Yes, possible. Also, if we assume that there are 3 mafias, at least one of the non-vanillas has to be scum too. One, because I know that I am town (which you may or may not believe), two, because it would be very stupid of the mafia to use roughly the same roleclaim each.

Well, short version: at the moment I suspect CSPVG the most. But I'm not sure enough to vote yet because we definitely can't afford a mis-vote.

IF Flubb is Mafia , then this claim is about the cleverest he could come up with, if he is willing to take a gamble on us getting the wrong lynch today.

By claiming Innocent Child, it will be irrelevant if the reveal is on Day 4, should we get the lynch wrong - the game will be over if there is a successful NK. Obviously should the game not be over, and then no confirmation is forthcoming, then Flubb would be revealed as a liar....

But he has effectively come up with a claim that ensures he is left out of consideration today - a gamble, but one I could see him and the Mafia taking.

I also don't think Flub is falseclaiming. If he was scum, he could easily claim cop, and claim that X is scum. We would mislynch, and lose after the Night Kill.

That would be very, very helpful indeed, now that we know he was town. But I doubt that regeneration was one of his powers. His demise description stated that he will need a few weeks to return - by which time the game will be over anyhow in one way or the other. (with 8 remaining it is very improbable that it will run for an ingame week or even more)

By the way, is there any way to know what powers QuadAlien as Jack-of-all-trades had? The mafia-wiki just states that a JOAT has several one-shot abilities. But which ones does not seem to be fixed.

SirPrimalForm-Looking back at your claim, you mention that your role PM specifically states that the people in the town seem slightly weird. My role PM made no mention of this( although, I do concede that this could be a further reference to mafia game 6), so I was just wondering in what way the people of this town are odd( Apart from your already stated suspicion that all the inhabitants of this town are actually alien, that is).

Robbeasy-Has that football match somehow broken free of its normal bounds and become a Lord's five day test match? Where's Day 2's bandwagon analysis? :P
