If possible, I would be interested in knowing what the profit that GOG makes is used for / invested in. (obviously, after salaries are paid, licensing fees are renewed, etc) Does the majority of the money help fund The Witcher 3 and other CDP projects?

Well, technically, it's hookers and blow...
Whatever they do with it, if there is any, it is outside of my domain.

Amen
Perhaps some of our Polish community members has information about this. I think GOG's mother company is publicly traded and therefore has to disclose their balance, but I don't know how much information about GOG's finances is available.

In any case, I wouldn't expect GOG to make enough profit to make any noticeable effect in their sister company's funds. In this market in the current situation, nobody is getting rich.
I'm guessing the cyberpunk game they are working on? And also hookers and blow, of course.

come on..everybody knows this, they are spending their profit on cyber-hookers and nano-hookers :P :D
Well first there is the black budget for Norwegian Ninjas.

Then of course the department of pie. They get fibonacci mixed in with the strawberry...

As usual a stipend for the hookers and blow.

Rounding it out with the galactic domination.

Pay the bills, employee salaries, then pizza. That's about it.

LOL, thanks for that laugh!
They build a secret hideout deep underground. From there they will take over the world. Beginning with buying Valve and placing subliminal messages in the Steam overlay.
They subsidize a zoo where thousands of monkeys are bashing on keyboards trying to recreate old Sierra games to bring it here without any of those pathetic licensing issues

No, they abandoned that project, since all they ever got from the monkeys where the compiled work of Shakespeare and one Jack Keane game.

well if you looked at TET's youtube blooper reel, you would know that you may have answered your own question.

other than that I imagine they'd be wanting to spend it on making a gigantic jenga game with 500 meter long individual pieces.

either that or gog offices become Gogwarts castle. it probably ties in with the jenga thing. probably like the moving staircases at hogwarts or moving desks at Valve but instead moving jenga-piece-habitats with offices or the like in it. if you peeve off marcin by saying you don't like game of thrones or something your jenga-piece-habitat gets relocated to the bottom. I think the holdup is probably that the most expensive part is building the giant robot to tap and place the jenga pieces.
