No thanks. EA managed to screw up what should have been a slam dunk.
Retail - still no disc.
Music and other extras - US only.
Idiots.

Pre-order your empty game box to get your activation code a few days later in the mail than anyone else who orders digital!

I cannot think of a single reason why anyone would want to pre-order this.

As for retail, don't bother then. I would be less anooyed if it was pure digital.

Are you saying it's weird they have a regional pricing even though the games are old? As far as I know if laws are old enough to cover that, it doesn't matter.
As for your comment about retail, what the hell do you mean by "don't bother then"? I mean that by todays standard it's very easy to cut some cost by not selling your games retail especially old ones where you basically through it to a tech team to make it working on modern hardware/OS then out the door to the digital store.

Wish I had more time available to play some of these. If I did, I would be really interested in it.

I would love this deal... if I did not already own The First Decade which already has the Command & Conquer games that are good. Plus it doesn't help that the initial three games, the ones that a lot of people care about, are freeware and it is easy to get them running on modern operating systems.

... preorder?
I was at the Wal-Mart on the city across the border from my hometown on Monday and the thing was already on sale.

Considering C&C: The First Decade has been out for quite a while and contains the only games worth playing, combined with a hardcopy disc that no one can tell you you can't play it anymore, I can't see any legitimate reason to buy this edition.
