gibbeynator: You know, I'm still holding you guys to the comments you made in 2012 about a new, "big five" publisher being teased at your next conference.
They mentioned in a video earlier this year that that publisher was in fact LucasArts and that it was in the works when LucasArts got sold to Disney and that it put things on slow-down for a while because mergers and acquisitions take time to integrate together including legal matters such as intellectual property but that negotiations were still underway and they felt positive about it more or less. Since then Disney has let go of all of the LucasArts employees if I recall correctly and that could also slow down progress on bringing them on board.

Ultimately regardless of what comments they make concerning bringing any new publisher on board are of no form of guarantee whatsoever until the agreements are signed and the ink is dry however, and LucasArts has been on shaky ground for years now and it's only gotten more shaky. Disney holds every single card in this game however, GOG simply can talk to them and wait, talk and wait. GOG has no power to slam their fist down and make demands though. And so, all we gamers can do is also sit and wait, think positively and hope for the best. It's also important to note that when the initial LucasArts negotiations were going on, there is no way possible that GOG could have known that they would be acquired by Disney as that information would have been under strict NDAs required by SEC regulations, so GOG can't be faulted for that.

"Shit happens" (TM) ;o)

Having said that, they sure sounded hopeful in the last interview they spoke about it, so hopefully they'll speak about it again soon.
C'mon! Cyberpunk 2077 news!

Not to worry! You'll be able to re-play the whole event in more than one place soon after the livestream ends!

Balleflass: C'mon! Cyberpunk 2077 news!
that what i was hoping to see in the video 'teaser'.
besides the aforementioned W3.
For me, the only quetion is when you are going to stop wasting time with teasers and take my money. :-p
Good news anyway I guess. Means The Wild Hunt is drawing closer.

Nope this happened before that video. Way before.
Oh man :)

The pre-order thingy would be nice, but I don't want early access because a half finished, probably bugged, game is a bad experience. As a matter of fact, I would wait for the first service pack as with a famous OS used on many computers.

I only do "early access" for games that come with a DRM-Free version and a bonus Steam key. As much as I don't like being stuck using Steam it does have its good points, and patching an alpha release without the headache is one of them.

Crosmando: They make action-games purely so they can port them to consoles more easily. Witcher 3 is being created for the Xbox One/PS4 dudebro audience.
You can deduce all of that from just watching a few trailers so far, this isn't COD or Battlefield. The Witcher 3 is probably the most anticipated action RPG right now because none of the other countless action RPGs are as ambitious in the scope of the open world and dynamic gameplay.

I think to count the countless action RPGs as RPGs is a bit kind for them.

Then again people still count as RPG, Diablo so...oh well.

BTW, GOG, any chance you will announce Emperor of the Fading Suns? :)

The main problem is that the market is completely skewed in favor of the same old single-character Action-RPG/hack'n'slash games. I mean how many party-based non-action RPGs are even being made anymore? You can count them on two hands, and their all Kickstarter projects (mostly).
A secret announcement delivered in the merriest manner .... is this GoG closing down again ? ;p
It's not like I'm not excited for more Witcher3 news, but I'm more hyped for GOG.com news/features. Hopefully it's something great!
