Which type of film do you prefer to watch, a film with color and sound and CG. Or and Black and White film without people talking, but picture sayings and music.

Which do you think is better, films with color or B&W?

Tell which you like most and why.
I like black and white with talking. Great for spooky old movies.

I like color without CG. Color because, well, black and white porn would be weird.

Also newer art films, like Frances Ford Coppola's Tetro, Guy Maddin's Brand Upon the Brain, and Noah Bambauch's Frances Ha, itself an artistic choice that's a an homage to those 60s French New Wave films pioneered by Goddard and Truffaut. One of my favorite directors of all time, Jim Jarmusch, also used it extensively in his filmography: Stranger than Paradise, Down by Law, Dead Man, and Coffee and Cigarettes are all B&W.
I am surprised there are people who actually think Black and White films is better than Color, amazing what people are passionate about.

(Like me liking Fixed Camara horror)
I find it odd that the choices are only between films with colour and sound and CGI, or films that are B&W and without speech. What about B&W films with speech, or colour films without CGI? Why exclude them?
Weird question.

I like good movies. It's better if they have color, but in the end a good movie is a good movie.

Yeah, I don't get the weird distinction , either. I mean, I'm a Casablanca guy, myself. A good movie is just that: a good fuckin' movie. If you're worryin' about colour and shit, you're kinda missin' the point of the story being told. wake yo ass up.
Whichever suits the film? Color in general, but black & white can be an effective stylization like various other color tricks.

I have a fondness for creepy sci-fi in black and white, like early Doctor Who or Twilight Zone.
Either is fine. As others have said, it just depends on the film.

However, I'm generally not too fond of black and white films that have been colorized.

Agreed. A good movie is a good movie. There are some great b&w movies and there are some crappy ones. Same with color. All that matters is the story. And acting, acting is important too.
There's a Black & White film? I hope they chose the wolf creature, it was pretty cool.
