Dungeon Keeper, Crusader: No Remorse and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, we took some time off from EA releases, but promised to bring back more great titles from this publisher in late summer. The time has come to say farewell to the summer and take you all gamers back to the Old School with the release of more EA classic games. Be sure to check back this Thursday to see for yourself what the next batch of classic games from Electronic Arts will be!

Ein7919: I see, so you want to play the semantic game?

Delixe: No you just missed the point. I'm not interested in arguing.
Actually, you were trying to play the semantic game and were caught doing it. So sorry you got caught...don't let the door hit you

*crosses fingers and hopes fervently for DK2 all patched and lovely*
Privateer 2 would make me a very happy man. Curse my trading the DOS version for the utterly-broken windows edition. I need my Clive Owen fix!

Alice would go down well, too...
The Ultima Collection would be very nice... I already own them all, but it would be nice to know where to send people who don't. That's most definitely a series that deserves to be kept available to the people.

Personally I'll have my fingers crossed for seeing Wing Commander games on here. I only own III, IV, and Prophecy so far, and would love to get the early ones.
Ultima Collection would be nice.
Even nicer would be the old Ultima games released as windows-native versions. I own the original Ultima Collection on CD, but I would re-buy each game separately if they released windows versions of them.
The old Dos interface is so clunky on Ultima 6 that I never could play it. And Ultima 8 won't even run for me.
About Damn Time. Most of these summer releases have been pretty limp ones for me.

Hoping for Privateer 2 in a big way. Hoping for a cleaned up Windows version that can run on Win 7! That game was an underrated cult classic, buggier than the Missouri River in July and prone to crashing at the most inopportune and cruel times (like just before landing after a looooong deep-space mission). The videos in the DOS version of Phantasmagoria 2 vis-a-vis the Windows version are a lot more grainy and lo-res, which is why I'm hoping for the Win version I remember playing.

And Kilrathi Saga, Ultima Collection, etc.
Not interested in buying any EA titles on GOG until expansions are included with the games.

no expansions = no interest in EA on GOG

Alien Crossfire or bust.

Get it, GOG?

Fingers crossed for Emperor: Battle For Dune
i'm hoping for some more Wing Commander, more Ultima and maybe some Lands of Lore. ;)

And I'm really glad that we're getting back to EA. Slim pickings during the summer for me.
Wing Commander 4 please please please please please!!!!!
The only game that matters is Populous TB.
I love how much I see others calling for LOL, Privateer 2 and the latter WC games.

usually those series are met with vacant expressions or total bashings for their use of FMV when I bring them up, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who isn't insane.

Couldn't agree more ; although a little bit of Populous II or Powermonger would certainly not hurt either ...

trusteft: Oh how I wish above all for Strike Commander! When it was released I had home computers, not personal computers and when I got my first pc I couldn't find the game.

Oh please Strike Commander!
WINNER!!! =)
To those of you complaining about no new release today, you do realize they are releasing a "batch" (ie more than one) of EA classics this Thursday? Which will surely make up for a lack of a new release today and then some.
