Dungeon Keeper, Crusader: No Remorse and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, we took some time off from EA releases, but promised to bring back more great titles from this publisher in late summer. The time has come to say farewell to the summer and take you all gamers back to the Old School with the release of more EA classic games. Be sure to check back this Thursday to see for yourself what the next batch of classic games from Electronic Arts will be!
Syndicate! D:

jkcov: Old School EA is the only good EA :))
I think you're forgetting that it was old school EA that killed off all these legendary studios.

tburger: - more Ultima series, specifically Ultima Underworld The Stygian Abbys
That's Underworld 1, already in the bundle here. There are no remaining Underworld games or expansions.

thx, edited
Of course these are great news however....to be honest I'm a bit underwhelmed by this "accouncement"

All I have to say is: The releases better be worth this "special announcement" and the wait

I'm so fucking hyped that I (and others too) would be really pissed of if it's dissappointing.
But looking at the stuff GOG has already here I'm positive that they'll be great.

I really want to see System Shock and System Shock 2... so would a lot of other GoG users according to the GoG wishlist.

LOL - yeah, I was just coming back to say I'd found it in the 'Sticky of Stickies' thread - thanks anyway - hopefully others who can't find it will be helped

I wish they would make a better, and more "official", wishlist : \
Why all the hate? EA is what it is... but it's a studio that's churned out plenty of great games over the years. I'm looking forward to the additions to the catalogue.

Not to mention the fact that most of these titles were produced when they weren't quite the corporate "monster" that some view them as today.

Bovrillor: So awkward. I think my rose-tinted specs have been twisting my memories.
That's probably true for many of the olde games people are suggesting. :)

tburger: If I remember correctly from E3 interview, TheEnigmaticT named following titles:
- more Wing Commander games
- more Ultima games
- Dungeon Keeper series
- Lands of Lore
- Sim City
For me, Simcity 2000 would be a (pretty much) instapurchase, but not the original Simcity.

hulksjedi: stuff
How cheerful of you. You realize EA owns more than just Need for Speed and Sims right? They could bring Command & Conquer, Crusader, Theme Hospital/Park, Ultima, Wing Commander, Strike Commander, DK2, System Shock (Maybe), Syndicate (Maybe), Lands of Lore, BioForge, and this is not all.

As we say in another forum I used to frequent: "How do you make sure no-one see's a thread? Make it a sticky"! I automagically ignore stockies in forums I've been to in the past, which means I miss quite a lot. Tragic really...

As for the Sim City fans - What I'd love to see, but alas won't see here, is the SNES version of Sim City. Had as I recall, the perfect balance of 'Sim' and 'Fun' for its time - To a much younger me at least...
