I have 30 PMs displayed a forumuser's window, all the older PMs are gone. Does it mean that PM boxes have a memory of 30 slots and that's it ?

And no way to erase messages in order to keep the most important ones ? Have to copy-paste in order to archive them ?

I have definitely more than 30 PMs, they show up with no problem.

Try this:

Go to your messages page and select a conversation that has a lot of messages - one of the ones that's getting cut off for you. But don't scroll to the bottom of the conversation yet. Instead, press Ctrl+Shift+J to bring up the error console. Press the big "Clear" button to clear the log. Now alt-tab back into the browser window with your messages, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Press Ctrl+Shift+J again to bring your error console back and see if there are any errors logged. That might provide a hint.

Console gives lots of lots of "warnings" for each gog page. But no "error".

Also, the loading circle briefly appears at the bottom of the page but isn't replaced by any text...

I have a different problem with the private messages: when I want to clear them, they always come back! (:P)
Usually these are messages with links in them, but not always (just plain text).

Mine eventually load up with that small circular, spinning "load" icon - though it does sometimes take a while. Also on firefox!

Woah. I filed a ticket. And things just got solved.

I don't know if it's from site-side repair or if something got unstuck by a couple of exchanged messages right now, but the glitch seems to be gone now...
