It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Used to be there. Now it's gone. I'm using Firefox, latest version, no add-ons. When I come to gog.com now, I first click "community" or "support" and then access the "sign-up / login" button from that page. Again, the button is not available on the main page. I have a support ticket in on this.

Since I have a workaround, it doesn't really bug me; but if I were a potential new customer, I might never sign up, since there's no invitation to do so on the landing page. Just wondering if mine is the only browser out there experiencing this peculiar problem.

Don't have this issue, but since several days I am unable to post new messages or answer to existing ones using Firefox.

At first I thought it was because of the "DoNotTrack" addon but I disable all of them and it didn't change anything, then I thought it was because of Waterfox, but vanilla Firefox has the same issue.

I wonder if it's not something on GoG forum/site code that doesn't like Firefox... or maybe it's Mozilla that mess up something with Firefox 16.
Bumping this because ...

Is GoG being hijacked?
Is my browser somehow compromised?
Is it Windows 7 64-bit Pro?
Does the GoG web team just suck?
Does Firefox 16 just suck?

Let's say that using their own forum software was...strange idea.

I don't have a cache to delete, far as I know. I am 100% private browsing. Wonder if that's somehow the issue.
Another shameless bump.

Can I get weigh-in from Firefox 16 users?

I just tried private browsing and everything still works, so it's not that...

I have tried another browser. Internet Explorer does not exhibit the problem. That knowledge gives me no satisfaction, however, as I do not use IE on a day-to-day basis. I should point out again, though, as in my original post, that my interest in this issue is mostly for GoG's sake, since I have an acceptable work around.
I lost it for about ten minutes and it came back.
No issues on my end, tried it with the latest version of Firefox. On my laptop (sandbox through Kaspersky PURE) with only wot, firebug, and ad-block plus and seems to works fine. On my main desktop (sandbox through K. PURE 2.0) with no-script along with the wot and ad-block plus and works fine for the most part. Would an uninstall and reinstall of Firefox work?

I haven't been able to see the "my account" button on the main page for a long time, but once i enter the community page, it's there. I'm on Chrome.

edit: Curiously, this happens when i enter the page through my bookmark. Once I enter the community page and click on the gog.com logo, it takes me to the main page and the "my account" button is there.

Second edit: Huh. I just typed www.gog.com on the address bar and the page loaded with the "my account" button in it, so it's got to be something in my bookmark. If you're using a bookmark, Muun, try typing the address in and see if you get the same result.

Third edit: Looking a bit more into this, my bookmark says "secure.gog.com" and that gets me to the page without the "my account" or "login" button if you're not logged in. That means that new customers will see the button if they type the address in or click on a www.gog.com link.

Might I suggest you've not enabled cookies?

Searched the forum, but this is the only thread I can find - so I'm sorry to resurrect an old post, but...

In preparation for returning to the forums next month, I updated Firefox. Checking 'Settings' revealed my cookies were fully allowed.

'Cookies' - or, as we say here, in 19th-Century England, 'biscuits' - are an Americanism to be selectively tolerated; whilst an enjoyable treat, it must be borne in mind that an over-indulgence in biscuits can have consequences for the waist-line.

After fully disabling cookies, my first Firefox browsing experience in a long time was gog.com - this was via direct address bar entry of www.gog.com, and also google result link :)

Imagine my horror when I could not sign in!

Returning to my Settings & allowing cookies for gog.com made my sign-in and site services fully functional once more :-)
