Briareos262: One of my favorites, I have the physical box and everything, however I'm unsure if my floppy disc of it would still works =/ Anxiously awaiting its arrival and Maniac Mansion. This time around it should be easier to complete the games as walkthroughs are more readily available =P
It's a shame they never expanded the Zak McKracken series I thought it was as funny in the same vein as Maniac Mansion.
For
Maniac Mansion, there's a remake called
<span class="bold">Maniac Mansion Deluxe</span>, made by
Lucasfan Games, the same guys who brought us
"The New Adventures of Zak McKracken". It's exactly like the original game, but with improved graphics.
Double Fine is currently working on
<span class="bold">Day of the Tentacle Special Edition</span>, and an
<span class="bold">unofficial HD Remake</span> of the same game is currently in progress...
For
Zak McKraken, there was also another project called
<span class="bold">Zak McKracken and the Alien Rockstars</span> that was abandoned in may 2008.
<span class="bold">The Zak McKracken Archive</span> is a very good source of informations.
