LesterKnight99: My current game of the moment is Fallout New Vegas. Its funny, its badass, and keeps me up until 4 or 5 am. It's worth it though; all the exploration and choices really pay off. Besides, those caps, spacesuit outfits, and laser guns aren't going to hoard themselves XD

Anyone else got a game they simply cannot stop playing until morning?
The Fallout series was my ultimate stay up late game.

More than a few times I played in 10-15 hour sessions.
The Mass Effects and the Civilization games. And Planescape: Torment and Pillars of Eternity.

...I just can't wait to see what happens next.

Mass Effect 1 holds the record for me for a single session. 18 hours going HAM.

Then they fucked it up with 3. EA and Bioware boycott still in effect.

I don't remember my record anymore, but yeah, I fucking love the ME series. Still do, forever will, lol. Can't wait for ME4 too, though I won't be able to play it on my current rig anyway.
Sunless Sea kept me up for hours... It's as if the game didn't want me to leave :-O

Other than that... Don't Starve. Just couldn't stop finding new and interesting upgrades and stuff!

I end up watching the clock with narrative based RPGs... they just feel like a chore sometimes.
I think I gained a day once, I just went further around each day until early became late again.

It was awesome.

Max Payne 3 had me playing from the minute I woke up to the minute I went to sleep for a few days.
I try to maintain discipline and never play games after 11 p.m., though it's the first thing I do in the morning on Sundays. But with Dark Souls II I've had the tendency to extend my gameplay session. There's always some place to explore, one more bonfire to reach, another attempt at a difficult boss...

Cyraxpt: No, i no longer have the same endurance that i used to have, unless it's a multiplayer game (where i can talk with friends) i can't play it more than 1~2 hours straight.
I'm glad to see it's not just me.

The only games I can play for a long time are turn-based strategies like Imperialism or Lords of the Realm, or RTSs of the Settlers 2 type. Otherwise (RPGs, FPSs) it's 1-2 hours tops.

I could play dawn till dusk as a kid :(
The blond across the street, seriously Fallout 3.

In my case i just have a short attention span, especially if i have internet, i'm tempted to alt tab and check the usual places.

But i actually remembered another one, Ghost Trick, i used to go to bed earlier just to play it and stayed awaked for hours because of the story, i wanted to know more so i couldn't sleep and always looking foward for the next time to play it.
Last night? Civilization 2. Damn Mongols with their sneak attacks
Stayed up until midnight playing Terraria, but I would have quit at 10:00, I promise, except husband was working late and didn't get home until even later than that....
Currently Terraria. But usually both Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV.
A couple of mentions of Terraria I see. I was stuck in it myself for a couple of days, but I managed to jump out...
into civilization :P Ever heard of the expression "out of the frying pan and into the fire" ?
Magicka Wizard Wars (R.I.P. Wizards :( )

Also Guild Wars (the real one) & Terraria can keep me amused for far too long :D
