I'm in the same boat (other than being able to afford to run a GA) ;)
For me the two big things going into spring:
1) Work back into routine light/moderate exercise, even if I'm not fit enough at this point to go full bore it gets me off my butt
2) Portion control. I've struggle a bit again lately with either portions that are too big (obvious problem) or too small, so I feel compelled to get a serving of something else entirely, and the two combined are too much.
I'm generally eating the right things, I'm just eating a bit too much of them vs. exercise and caloric expenditure.
Pouyou-pouyou: So my best piece of advice to lose weight is : find a sport you like, which will make you have fun, and practice it regularly, you will lose weight easily.
That's what I used to do, but injuries kinda made that unrealistic. Speaking for myself (and not xyem) I am at the point where I have to pick things based on what my body can sustain/tolerate, even if mentally/emotionally it's less fun and engaging.
But definitely, if health is no obstacle doing something one enjoys is always going to be easier and more rewarding than something that you have to drag yourself to do. ;)
