Holy crap, this is unbelievable! I played last night and didn't really notice, but went to sleep (in game and then IRL) and saved (this is a way to ensure I have a save because sometimes the exit save fails but saves when you sleep usually don't). And just now fired it up and noticed an amazing symmetry.

I am almost level 100. I've got just a sliver left in the level line to fill up, and will almost certainly do so today (both today in game and today IRL). And the in game date is... October 23, 2288. The game started October 23, 2287. I'm going to hit level 100 on the 1 year anniversary of starting it.

EDIT: Wait, now I'm not sure. It might have started on Oct 22, 2288. I'm not sure now, I might be remembering wrong. Still, it's pretty darn close. Just thought it was an amazing coincidence and wanted to share.

Well, it happened quickly. Not long after leaving Diamond City, I was ambushed by 3 Rust Devils (1 Legendary) and 2 robots (1 a rather nasty Assaultron).

And I'm Level 100 either on the exact one year anniversary or 1 day after the one year anniversary of the beginning of the game.

According to the save game info, it took 18 days, 16 hours and 50 minutes to reach level 100.

Let's see... 18 X 24 plus 16... mmm... carry the three... ahmm... 448 hours. Almost some more symm... erm coincidence at 450 hours. lol

Well, I was thinking (wrongly obviously) that it was in a story... the story of an adventure of reaching level 100 in exactly (or near to) 1 year. Like some sort of "balance" in reaching level one hundred in exactly one year. But obviously misunderstanding it entirely lol.

it certainly can work on a metaphorical kind of level with that translation (not a great one though).

I just wanted to avoid confusion so I'll avoid derailing this any more or others will (just want you to understand my initial point - amok came out of nowhere as they do!).
