As title says, the Witcher 3 no longer even shows in my library, and it's even vanished from my transaction under my account!
In fact, the only trace I have is the free "DLC" on my account... very strange.
I can still play it, as I've had downloaded from GoG Galaxy - but I apparently no longer own it?

I've contacted support - Anyone else with this problem?

Randalator: Have you tried that link: https://www.gog.com/user/refresh ?
Just tried it. It's completely gone.
Last time I saw it in my account was when i got the 1.05 patch. But just before the 1.06 patch GoG Galaxy said "connect your game" and when i tried to, it was trying to make me enter a serial key as if I didn't buy it... so strange.

I'm sure it will be fixed, I have had an issue with Witcher 1 previous which CDPR had fixed promptly.
It's just such an odd bug, no?

Well games have disappeared and reappeared before.. a lot.
I'm sure that when they get around to reading your ticket they'll fix it.
This is happening for me as well. Completely missing from GOG website and GOG Galaxy. Can't download patches or DLC. Just sent a support ticket a few minutes ago. A solution would be nice, as I haven't played in about a week and need to download some of the DLC that I missed. :(

edit: Tried the refresh link above as well. No change.

Quick question to both of you: Where did you get The Witcher 3 from? There have been issues with keys being bought with stolen credit cards then sold to other people, and said keys were deactivated. If you've bought a 20 character key (XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) from a 3rd party reselleer (G2A, Kinguin etc), this may be the case.

If the key was from NVIDIA promo or you bought the game from GOG, then it is a glitch and support should be notified so they can fix it.

I purchased from Direct2Play. They're typically regarded as being legit from what I've seen. The key I received was 8 characters (if that matters).

Does GOG not notify users if a key is deactivated?

Direct2Play is a third-party keystore. It could be a simple glitch in Galaxy, it could also be you reaping the rewards of the risk you took by buying from a site like that.

8 characters means a bonus code, so most likely from the physical version. This most likely means it's not the stolen CC case, but I don't recall the specifics.

There weren't that many cases of key deactivations until the release of The Witcher 3, so I doubt they thought there was a need for it. You can always ask Firek about it, but do keep your support ticket ID handy.

I know there's risks buying from third party vendors like this which is why I rarely do it. But sometimes the prices are too good to pass up. Can always dispute the charge with PayPal if Direct2Play screwed me over, though.

Good to hear, that gives me some hope that it's just an account issue then. Will see what support says once I get a response. If it was deactivated I'll ask Firek about their policy on notifications.

Appreciate the help from you both! This is the first game I've used GOG for and I've been pretty happy with it aside from this hiccup.

If you invoke dispute resolution then you'll have to prove that Direct2Play didn't deliver the keys at all. As it's a quality-related matter, you'll have to resolve it directly with the key seller.

I've heard that Kinguin tend to be pretty good sports about issues like this, not sure about sites like D2P or CDKeys though. I've only used a third-party reseller once, and it was fine, but I'm not doing it again.
I sto../borrowed it.Sorry:-(

The only legit place to buy GOG games is on GOG.com by official company statement (don't have a handy link, google it if desired). Any other store no matter how "legit" they seem or claim to be are not selling authorized copies of GOG's games, and GOG may or may not do something about that, such as disabling game keys. They haven't done anything that I've been aware of to date but they surely could do so as many other companies have done similar on Steam when their games are resold through unauthorized means.

Buy your GOG games on GOG.com and support GOG for what they're doing as well as ensuring your game will always be there and always work. Why take chances for a couple cents/dollars, it isn't worth it.
In both cases, these codes were canceled on the distributor's request. You should contact the reseller and request a full refund. They might offer you a replacement code, which might work, but it's possible that the same thing would eventually happen to that code as well.

As for the exact reason of these cancellations, I don't want to reveal too much sensitive information. I hope that's acceptable.

I'm sorry about the lack of notification after your codes were canceled, but we don't have a means with which to send such automated messages - at least not currently. We will definitely have to implement such functionality for the next huge release, but it's currently not possible. :(

Darn I bought my key from Cdkeyhouse - which I have bought many keys before from.
I paid like $50 CAD... not exactly a deal, but saved me $5.

Argh.
Thanks for the reply.

I paid legit money for what I had thought was a legit copy- hence still supporting the company that created the game.
I'm not very wealthy, so I save where I can; however now I've screwed out of $50.
My fault, I guess - but it's not a strange thing to buy games from other websites that sell them...especially for a few bucks cheaper.
