We have a community wishlist.

Now to go over why what you're asking for is a simple impossibility.

A: Diablo is owned wholly by Blizzard. They aren't about to give up a cash cow.

B: As far as I understand, the Freelancer series a legal fustercluck.

It would be totally awesome if any of us individually or as a collective could just ask for any game we want to show up here and GOG could wave their magic wand and make it happen. :) Unfortunately that's not how it works though, which sucks. At this point in time after all of the years GOG has been in business they have contacted virtually every video game publisher and developer in existence to try to get them to sell both their back catalogues of classic games as well as newer games and first day new releases.

They've been rather successful in doing so for many titles over time but at the end of the day GOG does not get to decide on what games they get to sell here just on their own, but the copyright owners of the game do. Usually that means the publisher and/or developer possibly including other 3rd parties as well, and some games have multiple owners that all hate each other and some old games are tied up in a legal hell as a result (such as No One Lives Forever series, Legacy of Kain Blood Omen to name a few). GOG knocks on the doors of these companies regularly but can't get anywhere due to legal constraints beyond GOG's control.

Then there are companies like Blizzard or Valve whom have their own highly successful games and distribution platforms. In order for Blizzard or Valve games to show up DRM-free on GOG, Blizzard or Valve would have to want to sell them here in the first place, but they really have very little incentive to bother doing so since they have their own distribution platform/store where they sell their games exclusively.

I think the entire GOG community largely would love to see Blizzard and Valve classics as well as those from some other big companies show up here, but while it isn't impossible it is extremely highly unlikely that those companies would want to sell games on GOG outside of their own storefronts where they completely control the sales of their games exclusively at the moment.

So it's pretty unlikely to see such games show up here any time soon if ever, but it is not because GOG or GOG customers don't want them here, but because Blizzard and Valve et al. have no interest nor incentive to partner up with GOG to sell them here. We all hope that changes in the future but we shouldn't hold our breath either.

Nonetheless, everyone can make their voice heard at least by voting on the wishlist but realizing that it is just a wishlist and not a guarantee that GOG can ever even have a chance to get these wishlisted games as it is always up to the owner of the games whether or not to entertain the idea of selling them here.

krlcrstns: Diablo 2
This should run on 10, there is a wrapper and a few settings you can try.

Diablo 2's latest patch should add Windows 10 compatibility:

I bought Diablo 2 retail a few months ago (at last!) and can confirm that the latest patch makes it work flawlessly on Win 10 x64.
Have to give Blizzard kudos for patching up some old games in order to make them work on modern systems but that also is probably killing the last hope of ever seeing those games on here.

There's always hope. In another 5/10 years who knows, maybe CD Projekt Group will acquire Blizzard after they file Chapter 11 bankruptcy over a World of Warcraft expansion pack gone bad coupled with a failure of Starcraft III in the marketplace or something. This sounds laughable to say right now but if one looks through video game history, they find many craters of big companies that have screwed up and went under and their assets went to some other company, sometimes a smaller company.

As one example, look at THQ. They were pretty big, and now they're acquired by Nordic Games, which is more of a newcomer by comparison. So it's not impossible to see it happen some day, however it certainly would seem implausible at the present to picture it happening. Lets hope that Cyberpunk 2077 sells off the charts and Warcraft 4 and Starcraft 3 suck. :)
One way to resolve issues running old XP games in Windows 10,
is to contact Microsoft and complain about a lack of compatibility for gaming.

The developers of Windows should know best how to provide compatibility with
our old games, and all of the old software people want to run on their new systems.

If everyone would write to Microsoft and complain that Win 10 is lacking, incomplete without
compatibility to run our old software, especially video games, they would have to address those
issues.

The tens of millions of gamers out there that won't upgrade to Win 10 should email or call in
to complaints and explain your apprehension too.

well i very much doubt that
blizzard is part of activision and activision has assets worth 15 billion
on top of the 2 billion blizzard has
thats 17 billion

17 billion dollar companies dont just up and die

acti blizz has a revenue of 5 billion thq by comparison operated on 665 million in 2011

thq face planted because fo the u draw tablet that cost them 100 million
thq wasnt able to cushion that acti blizz can soak up 100 million

cd projekt red wil sooner be bought by activision to be honest

Stranger things have happened in the video game industry in the last 30 years.

Sure, so don't be so surprised when Marcin Iwinski turns out to have been Gabe Newell all along.

Well, to be honest... I think the chances of CD Projekt RED putting out Half-life 3 or Portal 3 are higher than Valve doing so. :)

Diablo 1 + Hellfire
Diablo 2 + LOD
ON GOG!!!

Now that would make my year, not my day!

ABSOLUTELY NOT 3, though; it was a little poop stinking a lot and from afar, in all due honesty.
