Who thinks it would be awesome if GOG got a PC port of Conker's Bad Fur day, compete with:

refined controls like in Live and Reloaded, but with the N64 level design

brand new HD graphics that stay true to the original's art style (the blood river in L&R's version of the Mansionvania level can stay though)

the ability to switch to the N64 graphics and that of L&R, a-la Halo Anniversary/Marathon HD plugins

the return of the N64 multiplayer

Conker dressed like Adam Jensen and Berri like Joanna Dark in the final level

some extra lines added to Mansionvania that reference The Evil Dead trilogy (seriously, Rare missed an opportunity there) and Hellsing; both the normal one and abridged

two expansion packs added as optional downloads, their cost covered with the main game;

1. Conker's Other bad day, given new life and an actual release

2. Conker Infinity (after Marathon 3), where Conker enters the Apogee games on his quest to find Berri, teaming up with Duke Nukem, Caleb, Lo Wang (the 2013 incarnation) and the HUNT through levels based on all the games, whether remixed copies or new ones alike. the graphics switch function should alter the graphics between the old Build and id Tech 0 graphics, and the new unreal graphics

new characters for multiplayer as well as the old; the CI Apogee characters and a cameo of Meat Boy, Bandage Girl and Dr Fetus

Special stage esque bonus levels in the main game and expansions that can be played for fun and to unlock multiplayer characters/maps, not for actual progression or 100% completion. Basically they would be like the Warp Zones and side areas in Super Meat Boy and Strife

Lastly but the most important: NO CENSORSHIP AT ALL, VOCAL, AUDIO OR VISUAL. I cannot stress that enough. Live and Reloaded was worse for it and South Park: the stick of Truth was ruined in Australia because of it. And don't get me started on 4shits productions' raping of TV Tokyo's anime like Sonic X.

I agree that a remake that does the original justice would be great, but this is still a really weird suggestion.

I think it would be awesome if GOG made a Heroes of Might and Magic / Super Mario brothers mash-up game with better controls and a pumping soundtrack by AC/DC. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Well, I think it would be awesome if GOG remade Citizen Kane with the cast of Speed (featuring Dennis Hopper's corpse playing Orson Welles' part). But they won't listen to reason.

I suppose Kazoola Faloobie or whatever it's called might come here.
But than again that's not being developed by GOG.

No, a port of the original with better controls, the ability to use modern graphics or either of the two previous versions, all censorship from the other two completely removed, and the sequel finally released. it would need to be Rare themselves that do it, not Microsoft because after L&R, Microsoft can't be trusted.

Besides, Microsoft made computers and Windows OSs, not just the Xbox etc. so they shouldn't have any problems in letting Rare have free reign with the port instead of making shitty Kinect or Banjo Kazooie games.

Microsoft OWNS Rare (and their ip's) therefore they'll do whatever they ask, even if they make a new Conker game or a port it will be Xbox One exclusive. Besides, they don't even release their games on gog what makes you believe that we would get a Conker port? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Mainly just wishful thinking. Humanity can dream. Even if they do make it Xbone exclusive, it better well be a timed exclusive so PC can get it too. All we have conker wise on Xbox One at the moment is Project Spark AKA 3D Little big Planet on Xbox with a relatable character. Big reunion episode 1 may not even be that good. (I haven't played it yet, but I was planning to.)

Don't know how they'll get the rights to make the Conker Infinity expansion if they decide to though. maybe they'd ask the current Apogee and Interceptor first, as the 3D Realms Apogee was bought by Interceptor.

EDIT: they'd also have to ask Edmund McMillian if they did decide to have a Super Meat Boy cameo in the multiplayer as well.
