I was looking around GOG today looking for Fallout 1 and 2 and couldn't find them.
How come these classic games aren't available on gog and is there anywhere else to get them?
Bethesda hates DRM-free games.

They got removed when the copyright transferred to Bethesda, and all signs point to them not coming back anytime soon/ever.
I'd still commit acts of savage debauchery in exchange for valid GOG keys for 'em. Just sayin'.
They used to be till December 2013. Then, they changed ownership and the new owner hasn't made a deal with GOG as of yet. Your options are either to buy the games on Steam for digital, or a retail disc.

Fallout? Those games aren't "Good Old Games". They're just terrible, especially when compared to stone cold classics like Jack Keane 2!

(They were here but had to be removed due to the license reverting to Bethesda. Bethesda doesn't seem interested in releasing their games here, let them know how you feel about it!)

Bethesda took their ball and they went home in a tantrum.

Speaking of that, I actually wonder if Bethesda felt that GOG was saying "screw you!" when GOG gave away the Fallouts just before they were removed, and that's why Bethesda doesn't want to play ball with GOG? Just a thought...
Bethesda does offer TES 1 & 2 for free, so they may eventually get around to offering Fallout as well. We're *almost* due for a Fallout 4 announcement (I hope so, anyway) so there's hope that when they start thinking about how to market it, we can all write them pleading emails to bundle in the first two for nostalgia's sake.

v_v We can hope, anyway.

Damn, why did you have to be so specific... I had a dozen invalid ones.

That is absolutely the case, in the opinion of most. They could look somewhere other than GOG for the true culprit. But then they wouldn't be the pieces of... work... that they are. :)

Because of that exact reason!
