AgentBirdnest: True, but it ties into the tiberium series.
Heh, a few years ago I still read that the official stance of the original designers was that the games are story-wise unrelated and Kane's appearance in Red Alert was just a gimmick. Now I see that according to Adam Isgreen RA1 was indeed meant as a prequel to the Tiberium series with the Allied victory being the canonical ending of RA.

Too bad that things don't quite add up, though. The European maps you see in Red Alert and Tiberian Dawn are the real ones from the Cold War and after the fall of the Soviet Union. Doesn't make much sense if there never was a World War 2 (as we know it) according to the C&C timeline.

It´d make sense as an alternate dimension, like in "Sliders".

Maybe that is why Kari Wuhrer is in Red Alert 2. It's all coming together! :D

Barry_Woodward: I seem to recall there was someone at EA who was helping to get expansions added to the base games here. Who was that again? Maybe we can ask him about the chances of Command & Conquer coming to GOG on Twitter.
I found the man in question, Paul Barnett. If enough people tweet him about it, perhaps he can look into the matter personally.

She was also in a movie where she painted herself naked and rolled on a blank sheet on the floor..........art. ;P
Though that maybe yet another dimension.
The C&C serie deserves to be available everywhere, no matter the EA licence. These games are a true part of RTS mythology and I personally discovered and enjoyed this type of game thanks to Kane's crew.
And those great video briefings... I still prefer them to a 3D video without personality !

Besides, I think (but not sure it's still the case) the first games until Tiberian Sun are considered as abandonwares by EA itself, but may not run on newest OS !

It's been a while since EA has released anything on GOG. Wouldn't it be great if they broke the ice with the Command & Conquer series?

Only problem is that people don't have intentions of playing the original ground breaking game. Which is still the best in the series.
