I, and I believe Sinistar, got contact info for Doug Bell and Wayne (and passed it on to GOG), but nothing ever turned out from that, either. (Same with OMF2097) I never really considered the "personal" side of this, though. Sometimes best to let sleeping games lie I guess, or whatever the phrase is.

Until JMich does this, you have something similar in Table I of MaGog's metrics, but with different year ranges (1980-9, 1990-9, 2000-9, 2010-9) and probably using a slightly different methodology than JMich.

thanks, according to that table gog definitely had more new releases (after 2010) then old ones. if this trend moves on, then they surely remove "old" from their title "good old games" (without any announcement = the gog way) at some point and we'll end up with "good games" :(

They already removed "Good Old Games", back in, like, late 2012 or so. It's just GOG (pronounced "Gee Oh Gee") now.

Not exactly. You might want to look at Table IX, which shows that GOG has added by far more "Good Old Games" in 2015 than in any preceding year (44, second best is 2011 with "only" 32).
Actually, how it's pronounced is a matter of contention. IIRC, I've heard twitch streams in which the presenters pronounced it "gog" (as in "log", "cog", etc.).

I think we old uns have been affected by TET's pronunciation, in his mortal "This Week on G-O-G" series.

I really wouldn't hold my breath. A lot of people were expecting either more Star Wars games or a big Star Wars sale on GOG with the release of Force Awakens, and neither of those things happened.

I definitely do the former. Saying "gee oh gee" always sounded dumb to me, even when it still was Good Old Games. Now that it stands for nothing, it sounds even worse to me when pronounced that way.
