LegoDnD: Good job paying attention to the developments posted here.
No way we couldn't wait for a bot to enter our sitting ready with popcorn. Maybe the bot can eat the unused popcorn?

(my assumption is lullugamer is the bot, not you LegoDnD, but I'm afraid that by answering to a bot, we increase the usefulness for malevolent parties to do bot-posting).

rebeldad: As title makes clear when can we make a pre order purchase for fallout 76?
Whenever Bethesda to make an offline-version of Fallout 76, I'd suppose - if that even ever would happen.

MMO's with their always-online DRM is not allowed on this store-front.

angelblue: Update for "Fallout 76". It was an error and the article has been corrected.

"[Edit — 2:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, April 4: The original version of this post incorrectly specified that Fallout 76 will be offered on PC to Prime members via GOG code. We have corrected this below to specify it will be made available via Microsoft Store Code]"

tfishell: Dammit, we all wanted to raaaaagggeee at GOG! Where will we get our dopamine and adrenaline now?
Murder
Ah, got all excited when I seen it was going to be a GoG code :/

Kinda surprised the game hasn't gone F2P by now, then they wouldn't need DRM anything.

I don't have a MS account and probably not lure enough to get me to make one.. :/

Since when are F2P games DRM free?

For real, have you heard of this new thing called mobile games? most are f2p, and they are also pretty much constantly connecting to the servers lmao
Same as when Dark Souls, Counter Strike and Deep Rock Galactic will be here - probably never.
I don't think GOG has online orientated games on here? Maybe the ones that already have dead servers, like Neverwinter.

On a similarly absurd note, when will we get support for the Stendhal MMO?

The NWN servers are not dead - there are still people playing.

Odd, when I played it a while back I didn't see any. Must have been a problem on my end then.

Wait. Do y'all mean Neverwinter Nights from BioWare?
Or Neverwinter MMO [2013] from Cryptic?

BioWare's NWN is here (that has single-player offline content for campaigns, modules, etc. which is fine even if there is MP portion also), but I'd doubt Cryptic's NW MMO [2013] would ever come here....unless that got re-worked to work offline and w/out servers properly.

Considering the utter lack of NPC's, that seems.... like a very boring game.

Eh? 76 had NPCs for about four years now.
Yeah, it would seem that Fallout 76 has come a long way since release and does have some NPCs.
I played it during a free weekend and...well, it wasn't as bad as they say, but it still wasn't great. For some silly reason they made every enemy scale with your level, so you have even less of a feeling of progression than your typical modern Bethesda fare and it can get pretty damn grindy.

They really should have not attempted to chase the MMO market (which no one asked for) and instead made Fallout New Vegas 2 / Fallout 5 but with Obsidian (which people do want)
