IronArcturus: It would be nice to see Fallout 4 on GOG someday...
Given 3 and New Vegas came here I'm sure that someday Bethesda will be happy to take people's money again for Skyrim and Fallout 4 once they've sucked every dollar out of them they could on Steam.

nightcraw1er.488: That's harsh mate. It's not just cdproject's online only portfolio they are making money on, just check out absolver for instance, maskerading as drm free with its offline demo mode.
Or the witcher adventure game, or goblins inc.
To be fair, at least Goblins Inc was pulled.

john_hatcher: Where would be the difference to your mentioned Gwent? If GOG can make money off of this game, they will it.
I think maybe you missed the aim of my post there, mate.

PoppyAppletree: Fallout 76 is an MMO
It's not an MMO. It takes place in tiny (meaning, in terms of player numbers, not overall world size) instances. At least, that's what it sounded like from the presentation I watched.

Wouldn't the requirement to always be online kinda collide with the promise to never use DRM?

I believe he specifically said "dozens" of people on each server/instance. Most wouldn't consider that an MMO, but the definition is a bit foggy these days.

24-30 apparently, though it seems they're leaning to 24

Maybe it's a typo, but seems that is coming this month with the prime gaming subscription

Oh good, next week's GOG drama.

Really does feel like GOG is doing so many different conflicting things because it fears being irrelevant - when if it really believed in its core value (DRM-free) it would realise that it will never be irrelevant.
