GR00T: Well, it's obvious that the only solution is to... get a new wife. :P
Hmm... intriguing thought... but where to find another wife who's into PnP RPG, Star Trek and even watches The Walking Dead (although season 7 sucks so far) with me...

Ooooooh, I guess it's probably better to stick with her. And upon reflection, if your wife actually likes Scotch as well, it's even more incentive to keep her around. :)

drmike: Bah....

I drink the blood of my enemies and suck out the marrow from their bones....

./insert evil laugh.

The rest of the time, it's water and crackers.

Diets suck.

Even worse is that Charlotte water makes me nauseous.
You could do with some Bah Humbug, shame it's only available in December. And probably not on that side of the pool.

Oolong tea is nice to sip as you get a lot out of the one tiny pot. For those who do not know, you can steep is repeatedly and get slightly differrent taste from the leaves, it just need longer and longer time for each round.

When I was still playing an mmo I usually ate in front of the computer while doing something very simple in the game.

Wine or Vodka + fruit juice.
Chocolate milk, toffee creme vape, and some of that coffee from the pods that George Clooney drinks

I usually drink water and coffee. As for snacks - i often stuff my face with cookies, chocolate or fruit jelly while gaming.
And afterwards you can find a complete "map" of what i ate on my shirt... :D

Maighstir: I naturally drink Hobgoblin from Wychwood Brewery.
It's not bad, but you should try a Green Devil. There's pineapple in it, and everyone knows pineapples are evil.

I'll try to find that one.
My choice of beverage tends to be a strongly brewed tea, but today I've had one 240mL bottle of Kefir, a 503mL bottle of PurAqua Frost sparkling water, and plan to get another beverage soon.

Stay hydrated!

As for snacks, that's not something that's really wise.
Sugar Free Red bull at the start of the session. Alcohol free Heiniken lager towards the end on a school night and Stella Artios on the weekends. Don't bother with snacks whilst gaming.
Tea, water, juice, alcohol.

Snacks? Sometimes. Chips, crackers, peanuts, popcorn.

TARFU: My personal choices of cheese for a grilled cheese are extra sharp cheddar, baby swiss, and aged swiss. Usually just one of them, but sometimes 2 or (rarely) all three. Also, sometimes a slice of ham with one of the swiss cheeses.

Matewis: Gouda all the way!
You know, gouda cheese melts real nice and so it seems like an obvious choice, but in my experience the flavor of the gouda gets lost in the making of the sandwich somewhere. You need an robust cheese whose flavor won't get drowned out.

I like to have freshly sliced gouda with a fresh crisp apple from my fridge (anyone else keep apples in the fridge?) though. That can be the perfect snack sometimes.
