F4LL0UT: "The Path" to be exact but close enough. And yeah, it's kind of a modern version of the Red Riding Hood. The footage and reviews fascinated me so much back then that the game ended up being my first digital purchase ever.

iippo: ...so was it any good?
I believe it's Netrek.

Dominic998: I believe it's Netrek.
Correct - I would have been worried, if Picard didnt know this :)

Netrek is the worlds first internet team game, or so I have read. Anyway, used to be alot of fun and its supposedly still being played.

Ah you see, I discounted the C64 version because all their shots had a blue backgrounds - I guess it must have been some kind of primitive day/night cycle!

No takers for mine? here's a clue - it was a game based on a British comic

It could be Oink! on the breadbin, inspired by Oink! the comic. Rubbishman in the screenshot, I believe.
edit, hm come to think of it, it is wrong colour for the c64, so a different version?
