Ah you see, I discounted the C64 version because all their shots had a blue backgrounds - I guess it must have been some kind of primitive day/night cycle!

It could be Oink! on the breadbin, inspired by Oink! the comic. Rubbishman in the screenshot, I believe. edit, hm come to think of it, it is wrong colour for the c64, so a different version?
