tinyE: I love that song.
it is a good song, however it's one of those that will just repeat and repeat and repeat in my head until i get more insane. I'm insane enough, dammit.
Lot of people gone or only now lurk over the years, a lot of them i liked, a few of them im glad are gone. unfortunately they were replaced by worse....

That reminds me: I never thanked Snowkatt for motivating me to watch The Black Cauldron again, as I ended up really liking that movie...

Can't say I'm surprised. Disney likes to pretend that the film never happened since it was a major failure at the box office. It didn't even get a VHS release until 1998.
Around here, I see DVDs of it fairly often and it's on TV occasionally, but it certainly doesn't have the "profile" of other Disney productions.

It's really good, though, and quite unusual for the company.
Based on film, The Black Cauldron by Sierra also had its remake done in AGS, in case you also like to play games.

You should pick up the books. The series, The Chronicles of Prydain, by Lloyd Alexander, is a good read. It's young adult fantasy, so you can read the whole pentalogy in an evening if you normally read quickly. Assuming you're not super-particular about some of the details he changed (I know some people who care deeply about Welsh myth were bothered by his treatment especially of Arawn and Gwydion) it's a very good read.

Can anyone see my avatar? All I see for mine and a few other specified users is the gray box with a question mark in it.

I don't know about you, but it seems to have been replaced by a green octopus.
