Johnathanamz: I have over $25,000 dollars (USD) saved in my bank account and I would love very much to purchase them from gog.com.
You want to buy your $25000 USD from gog.com?

Look, even though GOG is based in Cyprus, it is not an actual money laundering operation. Talk to your local mafia instead.

What? I think you misunderstood.

I want to make my voice and wallet heard somehow to AAA video game publishing companies to sell all of their AAA video games on gog.com so I can purchase them all because I have enough money saved.

Making accounts on a bunch of AAA video games publishing companies websites forums isn't going to help much if I make topics on all of them saying please release all of your video games 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free on gog.com.

There's got to be a better way and a faster way.
This might have been the first thread of yours that I opened without rolling my eyes.

And, there it is, the eye roll.
That's what I've been doing since 2012.

The last video game I purchased from Steam was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in September of 2012 that's it.

I've been purchasing video games exclusively from gog.com since 2012.
You registered here in 2014.

So I can't have two accounts or three accounts?

Like on Steam? On Steam I have four accounts.

I made my main gog.com account on May 19th, 2011.

I don't talk on my main account at all.

Same goes for Steam and only on the account I made in 2012, which was the only time I talked on Steam and then quit.

You can do whatever floats your boat. Sounds like a pain in the ass to me - trying to remember which game belongs to which account. I couldn't be bothered. I have one account.

Unless your looking to have a bunch of alts to abuse the rep system, or a spare account to redeem G2A codes, I can't really see a logical reason for wanting more than one account.

So I can purchase a bunch of the same copies of video games.

So I can support gog.com as much as I can?

Like with Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Red Faction, all of the Wing Commander video games, all of The Witcher video games, The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and a bunch more mostly singleplayer only video games.

I have four physical boxed versions of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, three physical boxed versions of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, three physical boxed versions of the PC version of Command & Conquer Tiberiun Sun, five physical boxed versions of Command & Conquer Renegade.

So you can see I'm crazy when it comes to purchasing a bunch of the same copies of video games.

Like I said, I can't see a logical reason to have multiple accounts :)

Sadly there is not. You are just going to have to wait, very little can be done unless the change is at the company itself.

Why don't you just buy them as gifts?

You want to do that, then blow the entire wad on buying the whole GOG catalog as a gift code (as many gift codes as the 25 grand will buy), and call it a day. This whinging on the forums about AAA games not being here is going to accomplish exactly zero - wrong venue.

On a side note, I think it's sheer stupidity to re-buy games just to 'support' a developer or publisher. But, whatever floats your boat. Don't get me wrong, I rebuy some games as well, but that's for my benefit and ease of use. Not to toss money away just to 'support' a company.
The AAA's are firmly commited to DRM for their major releases. It is only when the sales have gone down to the point where the company thinks the days of big sales are over, theat they will remove the DRM and release on GOG.
I am not sure there is much that can be done about this. Bitter fact is that most game buyers will tolerate DRM for a game they want to play, the people who absolutely ,without exception, refuse to buy a game with DRM are a minority. Even at GOG, I supect most GOG user, thought they prefer no DRM will accept DRM if they REALLY want to play a game.

That's absolutely true. But those 'days of big sales', that's usually only the first week. Developers are protecting the shit out of their products out of fear of piracy only because of that first week of all important sales, maybe the first month. They don't really give a damn after their game is discounted, bundled, give-awayed and/or properly patched. But they still don't remove their DRM because why even bother when customers accept it.

What I'm kind of waiting for is a distributor who seeks middle ground, offers their business clients hardcore DRM for the first month(s) after publication but contractually forces them to supply/allow DRM free installers immediately afterwards. Would be an interesting business model that could show what AAA devs are really made of.
