I have always thought about it , if you look at steam they have the valve brand of games unique to them and nowhere else , ea origin has got a ton ea games like command and conquer , newer mass effect, need for speed , sims etc tied to them.

If you had to recommend gog to someone , apart from the drm free benefit what unique exclusive games would you say was worth getting here.

Here is my picks

-Neverwinter nights 2 , it was on steam but removed and incomplete edition. The nwn 2 complete on gog is
a excellent package.

-All older bioware classics sold here although no longer avliable to purchase they are bundled free with the Not so enhanced editions.

- Settlers series 10th anniversary edition

- Dangerous dave pack , sweet old pc classic havent seen it being sold elsewhere.

- Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection a neatly packed proper collection of D&D games.

-Sim city 300 unlimited - Probably one of the best sim city games out there so far.

- I.G.I. 2: Covert Strike - loved the series , hard to find anyone who has not played the first IGI hope its released here in the future

-Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse - A personal favorite played this during Arabian fever times that was going on in the 90s aka prince of persia , Aladdin etc

Did i miss anything ? I always prefer to have the unique exlcusives on a particular storefront , it makes it easier to stick around given the number of choices we have today.

It's not the games that make this place unique, it's all of us.
sadly the lucasarts game got released on steam as well now
BASS has been available on ScummVM website for a long time, you don't need any kind of account to download it there.

Oh wow, wasn't expecting that.
I was going to say "Sam and Max: Hit the Road" but I noticed that they started selling it on Steam. But the GOG version brings more things so is a better option :)

Yeah when i was making the thread , i had put in the lucasarts games and disney classics only to find them on steam as well , they are a exact copy of whats on gog here , including some gog files still there. heroes of might and magic 3 noticed there is a hd edition on steam . Good suggestions on the rest of the games

That doesn't bode well for GoG.

Aren't all the self published GoG games exclusive? So I imagine Fantasy General would be, cause I think they self published that.
