Are we sure it's not coming? The homepage says "The game launches on Steam and other stores on March 22nd for Windows, Mac & Linux.".

I really loved the Nelly Cootalot freeware game. Would buy this one right away.

I don't know for sure if it's been rejected. But GOG's not listed in the video among every other store in existence.

Just watched the press release video and it seems there's really no need to be optimistic. Guess I will buy it on IGS or Itch.io then.
