Better U/I that also isn't laggy as hell. DRM free is another reason I'll always get games on GOG instead of Steam if I can.

You can rate a game from one to five stars. On steam you can only give thumbs up or down. There is no middle.

Better forum community that doesn't hover around useless meme garbage and hooplah, better games that also just happen to be DRM free, giveaways that aren't so throwaway, not trying to adapt to all the trends.

I think Steam has a better review system. Videogames are a form of art, and trying to rank art on an arbitrary 1-5 point scale is unhealthy for cultural discourse.

Indeed, and it was not the end of the world like you would've thought with how some people reacted to it.

I wanted to refund a game once because it was an impulse purchase but i was confused as fuck where am i supposed to go to write a ticket. It also seemed to be implying that i can only request a refund if i have technical problems. I ended up deciding to keep it as it cost me like 5 dollars and has very good reviews (it was pharaoh + cleopatra). On Steam it's easier if you have less than 2 hours in the game they return it to you no questions asked

Classic games that are already set up to work out-of-the-box.

1. Steam keys can be bought (sometimes cheaper) on other stores.
2. Poland is not the whole world. Some countries have cheaper regional prices on Steam.

Just replying... I'd never buy a GOG game on Steam, no matter the price.
It's easier than it used to be to DIY (community patches, DX wrappers, ...)
I still tweak a lot of (old) GOG games to my liking, but sure, it's something I can appreciate.

It helps if you reply, otherwise it doesn’t flag a response. You can get steam keys from everywhere. Thousands of my sellers and markets out there each trying to out do each other. Check out the doom bundle from a year or so back on humble; it was around the price of one game here for Wolfenstein and doom games. Very rarely do you find something cheaper here than elsewhere, and no displayed prices are not a given as no one seems to buy at that price point.
