hummer010: Congratulations! My brother's kids are six years a part, and it worked out great! His are a opposite yours though, his daughter is the oldest (18 now - how time flies!). They are surprisingly close, despite the age gap. My brother is 7 years older than me, and we were never too close until we were both adults, but then, I have a sister that's in the middle.
I'm jealous too. I have one 5 year old, and it's starting to look like there might not be a second. Like saith32, having the second biologically just didn't work out. We've been on an adoption waiting list for three years. When your on "the list", your life is kind of on hold - just waiting for that phone call that may or may not happen. We're both getting close to the point of giving up, and moving on with life.
Three years?! That must be horrible! You'd think there'd be an endless supply with all the teenage pregnancies! You can have one of mine if you like, won't charge for postage!
