I think I might have a copy, but I got the "Thanks, you will get your game soon" message before I even clicked, and even though I did click again, I haven't got an email yet.
However, I figure I was in the second run, and GOG probably hasn't even gotten through the first run yet.
I will bet that a few people will have a gift copy, so don't count all the chicks as stillborn yet...
Yeah, that must have been fast then since I was in a traffic jam on my way home. :(

When GOG didn't update the site at 9am EST like they usually do, I figured they were taking the day off or something. Popped back in 40 minutes ago to see less than 900 copies left. Phew! Reading back through this thread shows quite an adventure took place the last couple hours. Sorry to everyone who missed out due to website hijinks. :(

Less than 3 hours since the newspost, and I can't find a link to click to get a giveaway copy? Thanks a damn hell of a lot, GOG... I would have loved to pick one up as a freebie copy! Oh well, doing without it anyway. =(

Oh, well, that didn't last long. It's a bit hard not to miss it when it goes up at 2am. 30,000 copies sounds like a lot, but I guess the internet loves free stuff.
