Brutal Legend, Beatbuddy, FRACT OSC and Symphony up to 80% off!

What has one head, works at GOG.com, and is permanently attached to to a pair of headphones? Everyone here. We do love ourselves some tunes, even if that means we're a little withdrawn sometimes. That's precisely why this week we're going to Face The Music: that means getting together to rock some of our favorite musical games! Care to join us? We're putting them all on discounts up to 80% off!

Brutal Legend is so heavy metal, it has to wear floaties just to go swimming. Jack Black stars in this action-adventure where metal gods rule the world of barbarian goblins and axe wielding babes. Brutal guitar riffs are one thing, but if you're more about that bass, Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians' rhythmic soundtrack will pound your universe into submission - you'll float along a hand-painted, reverberating 2D landscape in a search for your own mortality. FRACT OSC is an exploration and music-creation game, in which you'll travel an abstract world full of musical puzzles, playing your way all the way through to the very ambient end. If you prefer a more familiar music experience, Symphony will build the action around your favorite tracks which can be imported into the game itself.

These four rock-solid titles at up to 80% off are our Weekly Staff Picks: Face The Music. The rock will roll for 72 hours, until Thursday, February 19, at 4:59 AM GMT.
Get FRACT OSC, it's my GOTY2014
IronArcturus: Yes, it has a windowed mode (just started it up to check).
About the game:
- Do you like synthesizers?
- Do you like cyberspace?
- Do you have a fast CPU?
If you have a yes on either one of the first and a yes on the last, you are in for a treat.

MegaPieMan will play Brütal Legend on the GOG twitch channel in about 1 hour:

How well do Beatbuddy and FRACT run under Wine? WineHQ don't seem to have either in their database.
Only four games? I guess GOG wants to keep focusing on the newest games here. (It'd be nice to see some publisher-based sales during the week, like EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Squeenix, etc.)
I only lacked Symphony, purchased once but traded away during Spring Insomnia for a missed Sam & Max installment. Fixed!

After tomorrow no one is going to have any money left for lots of promo games. Right Judas? :)

Anyone know how Fract OSC runs on Mac? Not sure if I totally meet specs using a mid 2012 MBP but if I do it looks like an awesome game.

I'm going to wait to try the game until I have something more heavy duty than my MBP, which is very similar to yours. I would approach Fract with caution from what I understand.

Thanks for info :) I really wanted my specs to work LOL I could also buy it (since it's on sale) roll the dice and know it will work when/if I upgrade.

Hm, I'm tempted to pick up Brütal Legend. Already have it on PS3 and Humble, but I like the thought of having it on GOG as well.
I would love play FRACT, but that will be delayed to until I get a better PC, beyond my old 2007 mate
