A collection of gaming's legends.

This week seems like it's going to be Legen–wait for it–dary. As legendary as the games in our Weekly Sale Vol. 12, including some of Square Enix's most absolutely memorable classics at 75% off.

Every time somebody mentions Deus Ex, someone else makes that damn joke about reinstalling. It's no wonder because the classic entries in this series have earned every right to be placed among the greatest action-RPGs ever. In case you missed it, we recently wrote about Deus Ex: Revision a free and fantastic community mod which not only improves on perfection, but also throws in over 200+ GOG Galaxy achievements to boot.

Recently Hitman has made his way back into the mainstream, and in no small part thanks to the newest entry's understanding of the classic formula. A testament to its timelessness, Contracts and Silent Assasin hold up amazingly even today. If you haven't played them yet – now's your chance!

Even though we haven't heard Legacy of Kain news in ages, the series' best like Blood Omen and Soul Reaver remain memorable and recognizable for their unique tone and intense gameplay. Would we kill for a modern take on Legacy of Kain? We say yes! But try the classics and see for yourself.

It wouldn't be a week without even more games on sale – including Gex, Anachronox, Daikatana and more at 75% off (and stay tuned for more deals this Friday!) in the Weekly Sale Vol. 12, lasting until April 24, 4:00 PM UTC.
No mention at all of Retroism's games? Weird.
Nothing for me here.
I'm almost done with my ghost/pacifist-playthrough of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Xbone, but I don't feel all stealthed out just yet.. Can I save during missions in Hitman 2 & 3? As much as I like the first game, screwing up and getting shot in the face after 45 minutes and starting over is agonizing.

Also, how's the Legacy of Kain-games? Looks DmC-like to me, which can be quite nice.
Two weekly sales going on at once!

Didn't notice earlier that weekly sales last 7 days and 6 hours.
Already have the interesting ones though. :)

Yes and no - the basic priciples are the same: go there, kill people/creatures, get item to progress, unlock something new for yourself. But combat in LoK series is not as developed or stylish as in DMC - the last game in LoK series, Defiance, has in general 6 sword moves. And you must unlocked 4 of them.
But, on the other hand, it's not like it's also total crap, quite contrary - I really like the series and combat in it. Story and voice acting are great. :)

Isn't it about time that Hitman: Blood Money was released on Gog?

I really wish we had Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain game here, too.

It's well overdue actually. Sadly, I don't think squenix cares about us enough to bother with it.

For now, a digital version of Blood Omen 1 would be good enough.

And maybe, it would be the right time to update the installers for available LoK games (like the affinity bug and incorrect intro for Soul Reaver 1)? These things are trivial to implement and the games have been suffering from them since release here.

SE is not the problem here. They have no problem selling it on PSN. The problem is the legal problems associated with the PC version (which may or may not include Activision and Take-Two Interactive).

The amount of saves you get per level is determined by the difficulty you're playing at, but thankfully, yes, you can save in-mission in Hitman 2 & 3.
Hahaha. Deus Ex classic entries. Only one of those games has earned those accolades. Invisible War may be one of the worst things to happen to a great series ever.

I wish they did also, I used to have that game on PSX.
Already have what I want from this sale.
