Marching towards a victorious future.

We all wish war was a thing of the past, yet in our heart of hearts, we know it also lurks somewhere on the road ahead. What's it gonna look like? Well, our Weekend Sale lineup might give you a glimpse into how these futuristic battlefields will play out and what strategies you'll need to employ to dominate them. You know, should you be so inclined.

The Earth 2150 Trilogy sees high-tech humans fighting other high-tech humans in a never-ending battle for supremacy across our solar system. Featuring a fusion of 4X with RTS elements, and the option to craft your own vehicles too.

Should we botch this whole self-destruction business and need some external help to finish the job, the aliens might be happy to oblige, as Xenonauts predicts. Turn-based tactics and salvageable extraterrestrial technology, in the spirit of the original X-Coms, abound.

The Weekend Sale ends April 16, 10pm UTC.

tinyE: I had a HUUUUGE poster of it right next to my bed, I mean an inch or two away. I woke up every morning staring at it. The screwed up thing is I'm not a huge Megadeth fan. I much would have rather had a "Piece of Mind" poster there.
Haha, that explains it then. Same here, not a big Megadeth fan (but HUGE Maiden fan ;) ). Still, it's cool how your (piece of) mind worked to relate the images!

I wish Space Rangers (2002) was still available - I regret not buying it when it was. I used to have the DVD boxes for Space Rangers and Space Rangers 2. Space Rangers was the game I played all summer until I completed it. I then tried the sequel but didn't like it - lots of little changes that seemed to have less charm. Same with the later remakes. But the 2002 version was lovely. It's a shame that we can't buy it again, and the only way to play it is to download it for free.

Is my memory fizzled or these UFO After- games were not available earlier (or were removed)? Certainly it's a case with 3rd game.

Grabbed both to play again, even though they are not faithful to real XCOM/UFOs they are still pretty cool games and UFO Aftershock with ACM mods is sitting on my HDD for years.

Took Dark Reign 2, out of curiosity (read about it in some old gaming magazine), really like to play strategies with smaller armies...

I see earth series but don't know which one would be the best, i did play one earth game once remembering only that i beated the first campaign but couldn't defeat the second one though which was a new faction.The first faction at least had tanks and was beatable but the second one i couldn't beat figure out what to upgrade to beat em especially with those lasers and electro rays or what they were and hovering vehichles
So which one from the earth series is the best?
It's 0.99 EU now for single earth entry.

I am not 100% but i was probably playing earth 2160 which i mentinoned above
Edit: decided to buy all earth series games since it has a connecting story.
