How is Shadow Warrior 2013? I've liked the original and the new one is on my wishlist, so I'm very tempted to get it with such a discount?

Only hesitant because some remastered games (RoTT for example) turned out real crappy. Was Shadow Warrior done properly?

Only tried it some time ago for maybe an hour. Liked it so far, although it doesn't come close to the awesome silliness of the original Shadow Warrior.

Like this? I got the same thing going with Wild hunt but it has an explanation not applicable to your Shadow Warrior.

Even though it's only 49% off, I might get Double Dragon.
Other than that it's not that interesting of a promo for me.

Sin - With no Quake games in GOG catalog this is the closest thing to have.

but then again, in dutch we call the triplin: Kwik Kwek and Kwak, this also doesn't make sense to anyone
except to the dutch and belgians and the people who speak dutch well (i dont mean a few single words they learned using babel, but the complete dutch language, and btw that language seems easy, but its not, its far from easy, so
don't be mislead by the many advertisements on the internet that Dutch would be a very easy language to learn.
You won't learn it overnight (unless you're gifted ), it's more then knowing all words in Dutch and the (correct) meaning of it.

Also be carefull what you say in dutch cause lot's of words aren't easy:

zwart = black
wit= white

example line of parts of dutch in the netherlands in Brabant

or
did you know that

might be spoken in some parts as:

wiste gij dat....

witte gij wel wat

( i think the belgian people might understand whats being said, most others won't have a clue )


these have nothing to do with the correct Dutch lines spoken by officials and our goverment like our prime minister uses when he speaks during a dutch meeting.


And finally: belgian is funny to hear (not that french stuff) but the belgium language is very cool, i played online games in a belgian clan and it is a lot of fun.

There's a lot of dialect in every country, there are loads of people who would need subtitling if they would speak in their natural language:

Friesland, Groningen, and lots more would not be understood if they would not talk proper dutch.

English can be undertood very well and relatively easy, the problem will only be in the fact that lots of people talk funny, wellknown example would be

Phil Taylor and all other dartsplayers, when they take off you can't understand lots of it because you cant here them pronounce the words correclty its like they talk after having a teeth pulled out at the dentist, and if you can't understand which words they are speaking, it's impossible to translate it.

Second best to learn language would be german, the biggest problem is the writing and all the famous

dem, der, die das, sie, du, wir, ihr .... etc etc etc

these things are the only things that make german hard to learn, other then that most of it sound like some dutch.

french, italian, spanish, and other latin american languages would be fun to learn but are so hard to learn, because to me they sound the same , french is different from all others and also funny to hear especially when they are namecalling and using bad language (Louis de Funes was a funny guy)

Finally there are languages i would never be able to learn cause it sounds like they talk reverse, like recording a message and then flip the soundwave.

i have DD, i thing i got it at list price when it was released on GOG (don't know for sure)
i instabought some old games that i had on retail cd, other games i am not familiar with are usually bought at sales.

And the promo is not that interesting for me as well (lots of 3d) , i got two games however, cause the price was right :D

It might be good then if gog updated 80% of reviews for Double Dragon (like it did for some other games) that say exactly oposite (galaxy multiplayer integration + launcher needed). Its definitely hurting the game sales.
