YaTEdiGo: "Modern" Times and a Brand LOST: This was about GOG, I totally agreed with have some indie games here, but it seems like someone new entered your company with tons of "hipster" ideas, the new look, the more and more indie games and less good old games, the mega uber indie movies thing... I dont wonder why the LOGO is now grey, seriously you are losing the "Brand"

jalister: I still think GOG was bought by another company, and that company thinks they know what is best for GOG. Unfortunately they are wrong. I agree that GOG does not feel like GOG anymore.
I don´t know if they are now other company, or maybe they have new people on the staff that has, in my humble opinion, not the best ideas even if they probably have the best intention.

I also consider that maybe the "gog" model is not profitable enough, I could understand this, because maybe they arrived to a point where to get the good old games is not an easy thing. Example: I am missing here tons of games and franchises, Heretic games, ID games, No One Lives Forever, Mechwarrior series, Lucas Arts Adventures, Xwing series, Elder´s Scroll series, etc. but many of these franchises probably dont have any chance to be published here. Sometimes because "rights" are "lost" or in some "legal limbo" like NOLF, or most part of Lucas games, or just because some companies arent interested in publishing games here. (Something that isnt GOG fault)

So I dont know if it is a movement to open the market and the possibilities of GOG.com, if it is this I agree with their movements in the past, like starting to have indie games here, but it wasnt only this. Is because the reasons I posted before, some of the new changes made me feel so dissapointed, all together makes me feel this is not anymore the website I use to love, this doesnt mean I dont like Gog, I do, I like it. But it doesnt feel the same anymore, and somethings, like games that dissapeared from the website, make me feel I have not so much confidence in the future.

Anyway I am pretty sure this a time for "adaptation", and they will find soon the right path. The website and service were perfect from the very beginning and during many years, is just that I feel this last "update" included so many wrong things all together that is like suddenly recieve a wave of cold water in your face.

They said they aren't backing off from their GOG model - i.e. DRM-free good games. "Old" isn't a requirement for them for quite a long time already. So difficulty in getting more old games shouldn't stop them from getting any new good DRM-free games. It doesn't mean they aren't working on getting more classics. They are. I still wait for a lot of EA, Activision and Lucas Arts games to appear here.

I hope so!
I really want the ability to read most-recent reviews restored.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the notifications? As in it displays the wrong amount of notifications you actually have (says 2, but you got 3 forum replies or 2 forum replies and one or more PMs)?

Some potential good news:
There is one last thing coming up hopefully before the end of the year. This is at the top of my to-do list right now. I have a pretty substantial deal in my inbox right now, which I need to finalize. It's going to be a deal for classic games on GOG with a major publisher, and that publisher has many games which are at the very top or in the middle of GOG's wish list. So if we sign that one, we will fulfill many wishes in the coming months.

Hi all,

You probably noticed already, but today we've released the new version of account system - with the ability to change email and password working again. Like before you can do that on Account Settings page (https://www.gog.com/account/settings).

Take care! :)

I asked this before but since I never got an answer im asking again: Why is the news on the frontpage limited to two weeks worth of news and the older news aren't accessible?
I hate you guys. I already had BG1&2 enhanced edition on STEAM, but your launch prize was so good and adjusted, that I bought both of them again.

VERY BAD

Yes ! People asking for the subforums automatic additions with purchases were here first !
Ok seriously this is gettings ridiculous. I just got three emails from gog about getting new messages from a gog member and one of those messages was from 8 months ago, one from three and then at least one from today. Come on these are known errors from ages past. Fix them.
*Stuff it*
