The Shop DLC of Wuppo does not work with the current version of the game.
I wrote GOG and they told me they would release a patch soon to fix it.
It's been 2 weeks since.

Better to contact the devs, the wheels of GOG turn slowly (sometimes backwards). Probably also worth mentioning it in the "games that treat GOG customers like second class citizens" thread too if the fix came out on Steam a long time ago.
Yeah, 2 weeks are well within "soon" range for GOG! O.o
In my experience the best way to get reply from devs nowadays is to contact them via chat on discord whenever they offer a discord chanel. Luckily in this case there is one:

https://discord.gg/t5YqxDG

It's possible that the devs updated the basegame without updating the DLC so maybe they are simply incompatible now. It also might just be a GOG specific issue. Anyway it would be a good idea to tell the devs about it.

Actual Steam version is at 1.1.104 and GOG is at 1.1.104 as well - so it's not a missing base game update in this case.
According to GOGdb (I don't own the DLC) the shop DLC has been updated to 1.1.104 as well. Seems to be a GOG related issue.

I have an old version of the Shop DLC installer, so I installed the old version and the new version of the DLC in order to compare the file differences. It seems that the new installer is missing the file that actually enables the DLC. When I took the file from the old installer and put it in the "savedata" folder in the Wuppo installation directory, the DLC worked as it should.

Good detective work! Sounds like someone just screwed up packaging the files. :P
That sort of thing should not take 2 weeks to fix.

Maybe somebody simply should tell support about this discovery. Might speed up things a lot :)
over at Discord, the devs claim to be working on it ;)
If in the meantime, someone would simply upload the missing file to somewhere?

If you are using Galaxy you should be able to do this yourself. I would do it as well but I simply don't own the DLC.

Do you know the filename?

I don't but since it has been mentioned that it's only ONE file - comparing both versions with the help of the rollback feature should be pretty easy. It's the one file that is not in the newest version ;)

Think of it as a game - I would even award you the "Community Helper" Achievement :)

Congrats to this really rare achievement.

Now you only need to upload it to wherever you like. Since it's an ini I doubt that it'S actually big so any hoster should be enough.

I didn't since really anyone could simply create the file in savedata with the content from the quote, no?

Ok, PS: https://www.file-upload.net/en/download-13483946/gbstr.ini.html
