SimonZephyr: I just got this "PrettyGirl_00" profile that sent me a friend request on GOG Galaxy. Curious so I accepted just to check out this profile. I was 99% sure that this is a fake profile and low and behold, this profile only has "Hi. I'm looking for a man. Check my naked pics on my profile on this dating website - http://meetzc./id__". I blocked out the link. All the other tabs are set to private.

How do I report this to GOG? Is this an example of phishing?
Click the Support button/tab at the top of the screen, then select 'Account and website", then click contact us at the bottom of the screen & fill out the blanks/form & submit it.

Sidenote: I also got a request from this person/user.

You can. Just click the username in your friend request list and it'll open the person's profile page.

That profile's dead.

Also, I cannot decline its friend request. On the website, the dropdown menu with the buttons show nothing I could click on, and on Galaxy, while the accept and decline buttons are there...clicking the decline button makes the profile disappear for a second before popping up again. I was like "oh, they really want us to TRY GALAXY" until I learned that Galaxy was no better than the website.

I'll probably have a friend request staring back at me, taunting me for life.

I have two friend requests(I contacted GOG today about em) that I cannot accept permanently. They simply go back to pending acceptance status after refreshing the page.

I guess I will have to do that sooner or later. Contact support and tell em' about the friend request.

I normally don't like contacting support and would prefer I handle fixing everything myself, but this is not something I can pull off alone...

I also have that pretty girl 00 invite, but i clicked on the "remove notification" button, and the invite request is gone.

Yeah, sometimes a bit of outside help is just the thing for what ails ya. At any rate, here's hoping both our issues get sorted out promptly. :)

The friend request was gone, and I didn't even have to contact support for it.

I knew this seemed familiar. I just got a friend request from "Pretty_Girl_00", notice the extra underscore between "pretty" and "girl".

I check their history. If no games in their inventory and they aren't playing them, then I decline twist and block.

I see threads being stated with broken English by profiles with no games and no activity. I'm wondering if these are the same sort of thing. Maybe trying to build street cred before posting bad links.
