Please, don't make more of these kind of threads. We don't need one for every game that doesn't have a Linux version. There are pretty good chances that these older games work just fine under Wine.

I am not going to install wine as it is a security threat.

Furthermore, Deus Ex did not work when I tried it.

I want it like SOMA. I just click it, and it works.

Use Wine or something like that, it is not a security, it is a very widely used thin application to pass through instructions to computer. If you don't like that, give up using LInux. Maybe try a console if you don't like Windows and can't use Linux.

Yes, *any* application is a security threat in some way. How did you do this without installing WINE? There are already some options for people that don’t feel at ease tinkering with WINE:

Bad news, bro -- USB devices are also vulnerable, as firmware is hackable. So no USB. lol

As an added bonus the developers of these projects follow the GOG forums, so you will be able to ask for help if anything doesn’t go as smoothly as expected.
