most likley yes

>>fffffuck i already voted for the discworlds
can i vote again ?

i dont really see them being re released any time soon though

teeny weeny games turned in to perfect entertainment then back to teeny weeny games again and went tits up in 2001 with only a port of discworld noir to the ps1 under that moniker

psygonsis is owned by sony ( and has been dead since 2012 )

gt interactive went defunct in 200 was absorbed by infogrames in 2000 which turned in to atari in 2003 and begun its own death spiral

the discworld rights are no doubt owned by the terry pratchett estate
and god knows who owns the games
sony
who ever owns the assets of perfect entertainment
or whoever owns the assets of gt interactive
and tantalus media also had a stake in perfect entertainment which they bought back

gog needs a miracle to untangle all this

then again they untangled system shock 2<<
Lemmings i think is the proof that milking a franchise isn't a new invention. Still i would love to see them here. Discworld even more. Myst i've never played.
I also wonder why nobody made a Discworld rpg yet.
When I asked Cyan if there was any hope of them working with Ubisoft to release Myst 3 & 4 on GOG, I got the following response:

Cyan: "We hope to address this a little to the Mysterium crowd tomorrow. @GOGcom"

"good things coming soon :)"

Could a re-release be in the works! :D

I already voted for Discworlds and Neverhood :) Though, truth be told, Discworld is pretty much impossible without a walkthrough. Watching it on YT is probably the better idea, much as I usually hate watching other people play games. Discworld Noir was much better. Not only was the story all new and original, instead of frankensteining together pieces of the novels, but most of all it was actually playable without going insane trying to figure out the puzzles. I still have my copy, but I probably would not be able to get it to run.
put em in my ears and my shoe

put em in pants and I

it always seems to

Pratchett is dead and he wasnt a nice man.

Edit: my personal experience of him.

I remember a few years back there was a talk in the ScummVM forums about Pratchett releasing the firs game as a freeware, so I would imagine his estate holds part of the rights to the games.

Actually that was Night Dive. But now that GOG's buying IP themselves, they might take untangling more seriously. Maybe. :P
"Cyan in "active" talks on getting Myst 3 and 4 up on Steam. "Definitely possible", not certain. #mysterium2015"

Yeah. Seriously though, if it had been up to Cyan, Myst 3 & 4 would have been available all along. Sounds like Cyan has reason to hope that Ubisoft will finally agree - or finally has made noises like they will this time and Cyan's just saving the full announcement for their gathering - and if that is the case there will be some rejoicing among the remaining Myst fans. Presto did a decent job with Myst 3, it was easily on par with their Journeyman Project 3, so it would be cool if it was available to everyone again.

its always surprising to me when im reminded theres still no discworld on gog. Im sure they wouldv brought it here by now if it wasnt a tangled frustrating battle to get the licensing.

Yes, I always figured that licensing must be what has been holding it up. Those are fun games and there is still huge amounts of interest in Discworld. It should sell well on GoG if that ever works out.
That is an impressive list Barry, packed full with hall-of-fame titles.

For those interested in Marathon trilogy, there's free and open-source remastered implementation that adds co-op and multiplayer online play, mods etc.
