chandra: I wonder if anyone can guess what's the mystery game before the big reveal... ;)

mannefriedrich: Well...
Well spotted! I guess that settles it then.

Mystery solved. Case closed.
So all this buildup hype for a game that's not even been announced... so it's coming to GOG... big whoop... most of their new stuff has been for ages

and this is Paradox who love their editions / preorders / DLC... there's no chance this is releasing anytime soon...
What a letdown... I'd be more interested if we got Paradox's back catalogue - Cities Skylines and CK2 in particular brought over here...

Colour me not surprised and disappointed...

I saw price 377 zł for half second, so will it be for about 99.99 $ or some bug?

I wish I was young and had the time and passion to follow such an event. *sigh* Will check out if Paradox releases/announces something here though. I'm very interested to see how they handle a VTM RPG. After Bloodlines they have a Titans shoes to fill.

andysheets1975: Vampyr seems to me the most high profile vampire game in recent memory, although if GOG wants to really show off it'll be Blood Omen :)
Woah, that would be great.

Even a remake... (there is an interesting project with the name Blood Omnicide that features 3D with 2D sprites).

Loger13: Nocturne have big votes in community wishlist and games from 2K periodically came to us last year.
Nocturne is not and never has been owned by 2K. Rather, last anyone knows, it is/was owned by the now non-existent Terminal Reality developer.

I think $99.99 is the default value for price just in case no one "buys" an accidentally "released" game. High enough to deter "zomg a discount!!!" opportunists, low enough to not get crap from the payment processor.
I am gonna play the guessing game and say melty blood actress again current code?
But probably not since it isn't paradox game
Guess we will see what this new game is on 21st march

Source on the devs retaining the rights to Nocturne? I assumed Gathering of Developers, the defunct publisher, which was absorbed by 2k would, be the rights holders.
Bloody boring sale, only a single game is discounted. :P

tfishell: Sounds like it'd be good for GOG's reputation - a big-budget game here day 1.
Day 1 or not doesn't matter for a Paradox game, we have to wait a few years for the complete edition anyway.

And even if it is indeed a pre-order for a new "Vampire: The Masquerade" game, let's hope it doesn't get EPIC exclusivity at the last minute :P

You know the difference between a developer and a publisher?
