Just saw this and came here to post - I see it's been up a few hours already! I LOVE this "genre" and would hope we see even more games like it.

And by genre, I mean the text adventure / Oregon Trail / tactical RPG genre. It houses some of my favorite games, and I wish more games would incorporate character driven "text quests" that result in story line alterations, gear, stats and "other."

I'm hoping this one is like a few of my recent favorites: The Banner Sage, Expeditions: Conquistador, King Arthur The Role Playing Wargame and a slightly different spin (lacking "some" of the RPG aspects and tactical combat but still an amazing game) King of Dragon Pass.

What I find curious is that it's going to be DX9-only. Not that that's a bad thing. Too many devs seem to focus on the shinies these days. That said, from the little we've seen so far it does look rather nice in its simplicity and like an interesting mixture of MoO1 and MoO2 features. I'm definitely interested in seeing how this will go.

Color me cautiously excited.

There should be an "Upcoming Upcoming" tab, which would list all the games that will soon be added to the "Upcoming" tab. ;)

Well its kind of pointless to release it in its current state since its going to be released in a totally new reworked version in 2016.
