Just saw an epic shot of Duke Nukem Forever and thought it would be an epic cover for Duke's original adventure :P

Just bought myself some glossy paper, and it turns out, the printer takes a max of 220g/m2, not 230 as i've remembered. No covers for me in the nearest time.
I'm getting to old for technology..;(

I've found that paper similar to this works better than glossy paper for covers.

I couldn't find the Epson SO41062 Photo Quality Inkjet Paper that I use but any brand of matte photo quality inkjet paper should work well. Once in the cover they look great. . . =)

Edit: Here is what I use they just changed the name for some reason. Be aware of the fact that is is a single side paper so if you print on the wrong side (sorta pastel yellowish) it won't look too good.

The only paper i found was glossy, there was also something called "satin" but was twice the price, for 20 sheets they wanted 50PLN, which is like 16 bucks, 5 packs of cigarettes, aka, way too much for me.;)

I'll look for something called presentation paper, but i doubt they'll have it here, and i don't know it this wonky Brother will like it.;P The glossy paper i bought is also one sided, i had to make a "test print" of some garbage on a marked regular paper to know how exactly this thing prints.:>

I was hoping to make a few covers, and photos this weekend, now i guess all i'll do is this "gypsum plaster/finishing" whatever for a hallway niche wardrobe. I hate weekends.. :P

You're welcome, I would try printing a cover on an bright white copy paper at your printers highest resolution. You might be surprised at how well they look. I have a friend that prints on plain copy paper and , except for the white brightness, they look great . . . =)

Plain paper in HQ? Tired that one, colors look foggy, and there are visible marks of rollers on the paper. It's not a really good printer. One of the cheapest actually. PIcked it due to it's cheap CMYK inks, they're 5 bucks a pop now, could/ve been better.

Cheap good ink lol and not a con, only a bit of work to install the cartridges first attempt (get old cartridges, scratch off chip at bottom, place chip on plastic thing, place plastic thing in printer, place cartridge, done :P )

Thanks, that one is an odd assortment of colors and contrasts. Finding a good cover image is the hardest task when making a cover . . . =)
