Azhdar: Instead of games, UN should focus on sexual violence in real life. The world has a lot of more important problems than some Japanese games.
Why these political dudes always target gaming community?!
Some say it is an organized sabotage plan by South Korea to cripple Japanese entertainment media dominance.
lol Ban Ki Moon, that useless bastard, UN is nothing but NATO's ass lickers

stop human trafficking first fucking cunts

Breja: I'm still waiting for UN to just ban Japan. I'm sorry, but it just creeps me out with all the tentacles and weird flavour Kit-Kats and schoolgirl uniforms. Let's just ban it to be on the safe side, ok?
I'm guessing you don't have a copy of Huniepop in your GoG catalog.
I don't think there are tentacles in it, but there might be Kit-Kats and school girl stuff. :oP
As long as Saudi Arabia is on the Human Rights Council I can't take a word the UN says seriously.

And if poor treatment of digital people is treated as a real crime now then every shooter in existence just broke the Geneva Conventions and are on trial for war crimes.
The UN can kiss my ass. It has no business trying to ban things especially entertainment or create laws or regulations that can easily get abused to censor expression. It exists these days as a means of globalization and turn the individual into an interchangeable economic unit.

I may not be a fan of the perversions offered by some of Japan's entertainment (cartoons that kind of promote incest, pedophilia, and squid fetishes) but that is no excuse for such international regulation or "one world government" crap.
I think we should ban the U.N. instead.

How bout that.
And who else ban stuff like that? The IS! And most likely North Korea.

Now why does the UN wants to be IS terrorists? Somebody should arrest them or they will kill us all in the long run!

So a form of game ban for japan but they already use a form of censorship where you won't see everything or just pixelated genitals if it's also those games. And japan has very low sex rate there they don't have much sex there at all, also including the low birthrate. And i bet that pixelation censorship only increases the needs for all kinds of fetishes for them.
Japanese just don't have much sex because of too much work time there,i even once seen some video where one woman said that she doesn't feel the need for sex anymore since she gave birth to her child.
I say don't like it don't buy it for games. Why everything needs a ban these days is just ridicolous.
I am still hoping for fictional media to tell us all kinds of stories they want as that should be a gift and not a thing to ban.
And always vote with your money.
I hate that they want to ban "sexual violence against women". Shouldn't it be banning sexual violence against anyone? It's OK to depict sexual violence against men, then? Why? Would it be safe then to depict the rape of a transexual woman who identifes as a man but hasn't had time to operate yet?

Not that I think anything should be banned, but all these gender wars are annoying me.
Quick, everyone buy Groupees' VN bundle before the UN ban them!

Oh I agree. but what really gets me is that they are going after the depictions rather than the actual instances of it happening, there should be more than enough "real world" problems to tackle before saving the pixels.

And the UN also misses the point that while gaming is for everyone, that does not mean all games should be

"If you stand in front of a mirror and say "black lives matter" 3 times a racist white person crying about "all lives matter" will appear."

Well, the UN is a big organization, it makes sense that they would have many sections and having people looking into pixels doesn't necessarily mean not looking into real people. Kind of like having indies on GOG doesn't necessarily mean less classic releases. Now, if they are ignoring real issues to focus on pixels... that would be a problem, yes.

As for Starmaker, I'm not dignifying that with a reply.
Why do we always ban fun things like heavy metal and violent sexy video games? I'm not for banning anything, but if we're gonna ban stuff, why not worthy things like Carrot Top, boy bands, and politicians?
