I see gog.com is now advertising games I already own in their store on my Facebook page. Yeah I'm interested in games I already purchased from you.
So what's it like to be on a social network?
Aren't adblockers a thing anymore?
GOG - where the hell do you find these guys?!?'

Yeah, this was just as interesting as a bucket of ash.

That's more indicative of how gog are selling all your data to zuckerbank!
I'd be much more worried if Facebook had a list of all the games I own and knew not to advertise those. Why do people want Facebook to know every little thing about their lives?

Yeah.. not sure why the OP thinks Facebook will have access to that kind of info... most likely Facebook are just advertising based on the fact you like the GOG account (and other gaming ones) or that you've visited their website.
Facebook does not know which games you own or any of your GOG.com account details. Don't worry!

People actually use facebook? I thought it was just for stalking all the people you went to high-school with.

... but you can probably get ads while stalking, no?
That's bullshit!

I'm going to go on my Facebook page right now and write something about it on my wall!

Do they still have "your walls" on Facebook?

How about some actual ads that are interesting. Okay, they are more funny than interesting but you probably clicked on this thread expecting at least one funny ad, right?
UBlock Origin and win. AdClear on my phone. Do people really still look at ads in this day and age? Or do only the tech savvy get the ad free experience (until you cross a site that blocks access whilst you have an ad blocker active, that is)?

It seems to me that when you tell the average user about ad blockers the response seems to be: Oh, you can do that?

I guess it's for the best in the long run because if ad blockers become too ubiquitous, sites will get more aggressive about restricting access to blocking users, or a lot of "free" content will get hidden behind pay walls.
