Matewis: Holy shit I found it! I seriously doubted whether this radio station would have such a good website, but it did. I quickly learned that at the time the were indeed playing film soundtracks and one of the composers who's music they played was David Foster.

So what was the song (since this is marked solved)? EDIT: Ok now I saw it.

I remember complaining about the same before. I recall some instrumental song that I heard quite many times as a kid (kind of a quasi-Chinese music), and I'd like to know what it is. With vocals it is easy as internet it full of song lyrics pages.

Yeah I doubt anyone would've gotten it, especially since it wasn't an electric guitar providing backup like I said, but a saxophone. An embarrassing mistake since I used to play one :P At least I got the era right though. The mid 80s vibe is strong with this one!

That is really unforgivable ;) Go into the corner and say 100 times: I will not mistake a guitar with a saxophone anymore ;)

Uhmmm, not exactly. But I do have a morbid curiosity as to what the two songs combined will sound like... In any case there's only a 3 year difference between the two songs, so there is that :P
