I'll be honest. The first thing I did was check the topic date thinking this was a bumped april fools topic.

moonshineshadow: I always have to laugh when there are releases of expensions announced of games that are not even released yet :D

[edit] Here the game card:
http://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_expansion_pass
And once again the Buy Complete Series thing on the right column includes the complete pack AND the separate items, so you can get it duplicated on your cart. Because that what we costumers want... *groans*

edit: pretty fast there GOG, thanks for correcting it.

Grargar: "The 16 DLCs are still free. These are full size expansion packs."

I'm sure people will take these news well.

Don't worry that is not my style, I don't really make a lot of threads and always try to add something useful when I do. :)
An expansion announced before the release of the vanilla game? Okay.

We get this free for buying the game digitally, right?

This is indeed Good News!

Same here. xD

That's some bad announcement timing. On the other hand, more adventures, yay !
Great to know there are already expansions in the oven!

Grargar: No.
Disappointed to say the least. Feels like everything I like about GOG / CD Projekt is slowly unraveling.
so if this is already in the works that means this was content already stripped from the game?... I hate seeing season passes but from the looks of the content you say 20 hours for one part and expanded regions and what not I guess I can let this slip...

20 is not bad compared to to 9.99 ones I seen for other games that give almost nothing.

Edit my thoughts now

with the 16 free dlc stuff and the price drop of the game I see now why this was done pays itself at the end really when you think about it.

But still SEASON PASS :'( I hate seeing those but I guess you can't fight it.

CALL IT AN EXPANSION PACK ! :D

Yes, it is. GOG has decided to become what it once fought. The only remnant remaining is DRM-free - but that won't last either, I'm afraid.
Sounds good to me. I wish they had put another 30 hours on W2.

I doubt they stripped from the main game, keeping the W3 creative team employed until they decide on the next project would be my guess.

I'd like to see any evidence that it was "stripped" from the game. It seems people are starting to get up set. Calling all trolls and tinyE, get to work!
