FTFY!

A bit late, but - Have a great vacation, Mr MagGog!

Wurzelkraft: And they still won't whitelist MaGog's IP although she's doing what GOG should be doing themselves. Yikes!
avatar
mrkgnao: The web development team was indeed deemed too busy to implement a whitelist feature, but a grassroots solution of sorts has been deployed by Firek.

He gave me his private email address and whenever MaGog's IP gets blocked, I email him and he unblocks it (he can do it from home and he checks his emails on his mobile quite often). It sometimes may take him a few hours (I have heard rumours that he occasionally sleeps, but I don't really believe it), yet it's always a lot faster than waiting 18 hours for the block to expire. Sometimes he does it within minutes; sometimes he does it in the middle of the Polish night. I feel kind of awkward bothering him repeatedly (already three times since the sale began), but I tell myself it's not for me, it's for you guys, so I feel less guilty.
Based on my own experience with Firek, reading this, while awesome, is not surprising in the slightest.

Hopefully caught you before you're out the door, but if you're reading this on hols then the sentiment is the same - have a jolly time!
I know folks here are knee deep in this awesome sale, but GOG updated the "upcoming" tab, revealing the (so far) puzzling and eerie Kholat.

But what pleases me the most is that "estimated game length: 4 - 6 hours" is showcased in the description.
Gosh, I wish more devs or whoever's responsible for doing stuff like that could do this a little more :D
I know, I know the coin has 2 sides on this one and it doesn't apply to several games in here, but that's a lovely sight to see, in all redundantness(ness?) :P

It makes us busy parents, I mean, gamers so happy!

Yeah, I noticed that one. Mountaineering expedition doomed by unknown, mysterious force? Obviously I'll Day One that sucker. :)

Looks like the release is tomorrow, regular $19.99, 20% release discount.

Saw a documentary about this unfortunate event. Scared me just like Tunguska did :P
