Alm888: I don't see any effort on this field. For example, "This War of Mine" is still at its 4.0.1 version.

blotunga: GOGdb has problems reading the new site. I have This War of Mine and it's 5.0.0.
I don't have problems reading this site's profile page. It is 4.0.1 for me. GOG does not have the update (yet?).

Check the windows version, that one has the 5.0.0

I don't care for Windows version.

On mac and linux it's also missing the latest DLC if it makes you more sad :P

No, I am not sad, honestly. I think I had enough fun with the game already (great game, BTW, but with little replay value per se, I've alerady turned it into "Stardew Valley" clone with carrot fields :) ) and after this incident I've decided not to get "season pass".

Maybe later, when the DLC's will be available here at a great discount. Right now I have no shortage of unplayed games: "X: Rebirth" is one hell of a time-hog :), CrossCode is a nice action game and there a bunch of VNs for a more "story-driven" kind kind of games, so I'm set for now.

I think "11bit Studios" has just punished itself with this behavior.

Oh yes, Rebirth is a biggie, but after finishing the main plot I somehow couldn't get myself to keep on playing. I find myself rather returning to X3:TC or Albion Prelude.

I am playing "The New Frontier" mod now. I want to basically wipe out every other faction there. :)

chandra: We'd like to inform you that The Walking Dead game series will be delisted from our catalog, effective immediately, due to publisher request. The process may take some time.

Everyone who owns the games prior to delisting will still be able to access them through their GOG Library.

Right now we have no information about the future on The Walking Dead: The Final Season, but we will keep you up to date if we receive any news.
Guys, pls, post these removal notices in the news on the main page. People like me keep missing tiny little hidden forum posts about it and there's a whole bunch of people not reading forums at all.

I already missed Death Gate because of it. And I really wanted to buy that game.

Alm888: I'd say GOG is rather liberal with its "Customer-first approach" when it comes down to dealing with big-bucks publishers. But GOG compensates its frustration dealing with small indie developers: in that case GOG becomes a highly curated elitist store with high standards and plentiful demands. :)
Don't be unfair. GOG is still a for profit company. They are waaaaaaaaay more customer friendly and approachable than most publishers or game store fronts. Sure, wanting the ideal is nice, but ideal is called ideal for a reason - objectively, it doesn't exist.

GOG is still one of the best in customer support and care out there, and I don't think we should appreciate that by being bitter. Sure, fair criticism is needed and should be said if you feel like pointing it out, but consider the realities we live in before being unfairly critical. Relative to Activision-Blizzard, EA or Steam GOG is still caring and really trying. Name another store that has regional price balancing with handed out store credits, money back guarantee, fulfilled community wishes, DRM free games, and the list goes on.

Whenever a game is going to be removed the article should be in the newsfeed on the front page for maximum exposure just like releases. I miss so many of these announcements because the post gets buried.

zlep: I'm here because I just noticed the email. Very nice feature! I hope that extra form of notification continues, and isn't just a one-off for this series.

PixelBoy: What are you people talking about?
What email?

I never got nothing, and I just rechecked twice - nothing.

Not that I missed anything as I wasn't going to buy anything, but was I supposed to receive some email notification from GOG about this?
As I mentioned, I definitely got an email about it. Maybe it was targeted at people who had already bought Walking Dead games, or had them on their wishlist (both of which applied to me).

The email came from the same address that sends out the news about sales and freebies. Do you have store notifications turned on in your settings?

I would assume it was tied to a similar criterion that got people the Telltale freebies later: having one or more Telltale Walking Dead titles in one's wishlist.

I have the first 2 seasons + 400 Days in my GOG library, but I never got an e-mail (and I am signed up to receive e-mail updates); presumably, that's because I had no other Telltale titles in my wishlist.

Now the Final Season is an Epic Exclusive. Can you or any blue confirm if this is a timed exclusive or if the series including the Final Season will ever be purchasable on GOG again?
I know Back to the Future was a point & click and sorta okay.

i tried and played 'The Wolf Among Us' and would have rather have just watched someone else play (at least until i lost interest in the story altogether). As most of TellTale's games are like this, i don't really see what you're missing with them going away.

Although i'm sad to hear TellTale is going away due to their own failures, and could only hope they make something other than their formulaic linear storyline where choices mostly don't matter. But it seems that isn't going to happen now.

If you already own the final season on GOG or Steam the final episodes will be downloadable on that platform - purchasing it going forward will however be Epic Store exclusive only

https://www.pcgamer.com/the-walking-dead-the-final-season-will-be-an-epic-store-exclusive-unless-you-already-own-it/

The Walking Dead: The Final Season was delisted from Steam and GOG in September, shortly after Telltale's wheels came off. The series was eventually picked up by Skybound Games, which said in November that the games would be "back online ASAP." Today that finally happened, with a little bit of a twist.

People who purchased the game on Steam or GOG will get the rest of the episodes in the series on their original platform, but for everyone else, it will only be available for purchase on the Epic Games Store.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season comes out on January 15. To be perfectly clear about it, if you've previously purchased the game elsewhere, you do not need to re-buy it on the Epic Store. Skybound also called on the talents of Clementine voice actor Melissa Hutchison to answer some frequently asked questions: Older TWD seasons will remain available on their original platforms, cloud saves will carry over, and Skybound is not currently working on any other Telltale games.
