Cavenagh: I feel 1000% better now, not caughing my guts up in the morning, does anyone else vape on here.
F4LL0UT: I have for like two years and I'm trying to quit, have only been taking two or three puffs a day lately, just enough so I won't go crazy when seriously stressed out. My health greatly improved after switching from cigarettes to e-cigarettes
at first but at this point I'm experiencing other symptoms which get a bit weaker but don't go fully away when I put that shit away. Frankly I'm shitscared that e-cigarettes may have done even bigger harm to my body than regular cigarettes would have in the same time and want to get myself checked out very soon. Shortness of breath, chest pains, an irregular heartbeat, you name it. Seriously, just quit smoking and vaping altogether. It can't possibly be good but it can sure as hell be dangerous. And that's not including the (admittedly small) fire risk due to malfunctioning batteries.
The liquid used in e-cigarettes is itself a completely harmless biological lipid, most commonly used by dermatologists as a topical moistureizing agent. It is edible, even.
However the symptoms you are describing are worth getting checked out, stress and cardiovascular issues are in fact a way more dangerous thing than even tobacco smoking is.
Still, I just can't imagine a way e-cigs could damage anyone, and certainly not more than regular tar based tobacco.. I mean, I'm all open to ideas, I just don't see it. The liquid can't make anything dangerous, even when heated, nicotine is nicotine, and that's about it for contents of e-cigs.
I hope you find a way to improve your health, it's the most valuable thing we have.
